To be compare from both I will prefer new myvi or alza, if the old myvi you should regret to own the car, just one year only Every where is appear the noisy and rating sound with here kor kor there kor kor some more wheel noisy loud than radio volume + engine noise.

Hi guys, my dad's friend is planning to sell his 1 year old Alza for about RM51k, it's the 1.5 EZi (Metallic/Pearl White) model. Mileage is less than 18000km... Is the price reasonable? I'm thinking of taking his offer, gonna use as a replacement for my aging Kelisa hmm.gif Any opinions will be greatly appreciated notworthy.gif

Thanks!

is worth to buy since is ur fren car. if condition should be alright.
MY CASE
car bought - RM62k+
sell to saleman - RM48k+ 9months old
interest for 5year - RM8k+

RM62k + RM8k- RM48
mean total lost more then RM22k

i can take back few RM-k only...end up no upgrade to livina.

Hi guys need your help.

To those having problem when shifting from P to N when the car is cold then to D4, it jerks or is slow in engaging, please complain to Perodua.

My brother just sent his car for 3rd service and he just mentioned that he has this problem to them casually thinking it was nothing serious.

2 hours later they called him and said diagnosed as "shift shock" problem. As the car is under warranty they said they will change the whole transmission for him for free. They said lucky for him as it cost RM27,000 and the car can only be ready tomorrow. Apparently the service center knows about the problem but thye have not issued a recall.

Have you guys any similar experience as we find this hard to believe as my brother's car is under 20,000km in milage and is the 1st batch EZI auto.

He regretted buying the Alza and I agree the soundproofing on this car is horrible especially when it rains.

To you guys who think Exora is a better buy forget it as I recently sat on the car and it is seriously underpowered. If you like to hear the consatnt down shift of the gear and engine roar then buy Exora as it is really annoying.

Yap last 2 months I was decide from this 2 cars Alza either Livina but end up is my good choice for my livina,
So far so good and everyday and feels happy, no regret to bought my livina 1.8 FC at 17-18 sen per/Km on Ron95, always feel very power engine and comfort drove.
Fuel Rm61 on Ron95 can Drove up to 370Km in JB town on every jam like hell at jalan terbrau.

Just no come with many accessories as Alza premium specs.

The headache is a monthly installment will be a bit heavy.

From Rm800 Alza jump to livina Rm1050.
That this, but no regret to own the livina.

The warranty only cover your brake pad,
If you changed out side and the warranty will be not cover by P2.
Let's siad the car brake pad finish at highway and still wanna drive in P2 for service? Cannot be.

this due to Livina shorter wheelbase (2,600 mm).

Alza have longer wheelbase (2,750 mm).

so the second row is not directly on top of the suspension itself..

i tot the wear and tear parts are not cover by warranty unless is faulty parts?

if finish means u need to change and pay for new brake pads rite?, not claim under warranty...

p/s: im changing my brake pads soon eventhou the pads is good for another 2 years, the P2 pads is dusty as hell mad.gif

what bull**** is a shift shock prob?! I lil disappointed wit the product..

Mine year 2011, I encounter such prob regardless of the weather condition. It also happens when i reverse the car. I really had to step down the brake pedal hard.

I can tolerate prob such as wind noise, but things like crappy disc brakes and faulty gear box is serious shit..the last thing i dont want is a flyin spare tyre!

what to do... we bought this car out of good faith, only to be plagued with endless problems... no more Perodua for me... I'll probably endure the car quality for the next few years before selling to some poor sap to continue Perodua's crappy legacy...

now my car got some "loose paper" noise when air-cond fan is set to level 2... the higher it goes, the louder noise it makes... doh.gif
