No lar... P2 won't accept him. They are problem seekers, not solution providers.

Let me share with you all my experiences here. During first day i got my ride, it is a Alza Advance Edition. The following are my problem.

1. underneath carriage rust prove very bad
2. front bonet senget, causing gap not even on left and right
3. back bonet senget, causing gap not even on left and right
4. steering back cover loose, got sound when tab with fingers
5. right front panel not align with door panel, ugly gap
6. back seat 3rd row noisy, cause left side latch cannot lock properly
7. front driver seat got noise
8. pillar B got noise and door panel noise.

I shoot up an email to P2 HQ next day, they called me within 1 hour after my email. direct me to the new Subang Jaya spare part and panel service center.

upon reaching the service center, i was amazed with the factory, they got few section, spare part section, general service section, problem troubleshoot section, body panel section, painting section.

Less than 5 hour, issue 1 till issue 7, all solved except for issue 8 cause i ran out of time, and i resolve all the rattling issue my self on the third day.

Please try the new Subang Service center behind summit USJ,they got everything under 1 roof. With proper diplomatic skills and peoples handling skills, things can be sorted out very efficiantly.

now i am so happy with my new ride and all problem sorted within 2 days, i gave my baby a complete professional polishing, and permanon coating cost me 400++ and 5 hours polishing job. :-)

perhaps you've gotten a better batch after all our complaints were put to good use by P2... like you said, maybe I got myself a bloody dud... but I stand by my case... It's the worse car money can buy, and I will keep telling ppl who wanna buy Alza, DO NOT BUY PERODUA ALZA...! ENDLESS QUALITY ISSUES...! I have wasted 64k cash buying this piece of junk, and enough is enough...

btw, maybe you should work in P2, then you can apply your patience and DIY skills there and try solving all of our problems... tongue.gif

i had shared my way to solve the wind noise from the small window with P2 technician, they write it down and will present it to HQ. it will take some times.

My way to solve the wind noise from small window is base on how one of my friend solve his Golf GTI wind noise issue. all you need is thick layer of glass tinting film, using foldover wrapping method, and compress screen into frame using hot glue. walaa! problem solved within 2 hours.

I'm surprised they refer you to a dealer SC when every time I write to them regardless online, or snail mail to their HQ, they refer me to Rawang SC. The only time I was referred to a dealer was when the referral came from DMM Sales.

I'm sick and tired of the problems kept recurring...

I mentioned the spare tyre not because I want P2 to be better, but because I want users to be careful. But seriously I don't really comprehend the point you want to get across. You are almost saying to the lady who nearly got kidnapped at The Curve, "Hey, do you know how many ppl frequent this place each week? You are just ONE who got into trouble". Or you want the police to say "Come on, it only happened ONCE in your XX years of age".

Like me, she is not asking for the management to put police all over the place, or some type of super tight security all over the car park, like what you'll find inside a bank. We are telling what actually happened. And somethings need only happen once and it is devastating to the victim.

This is not something that would not cause injuries like noise or rattling. This is serious even if it happens only once.

this is a very bad anology or example to use. almost not coherent at all. so far, what i can say about the rod holder is...it is very solid and thick.

i would like to add in a incoherent statement, let say..why not the stupid premium model come with back camera? it is just a matter of time some infant or children get crush while reversing? it happend right? why not the car come with fire extinguisher? car do set on fire...why not all bumper made of absorber bumper like nissan did back in old days? so the bumper can absorb some impact before crumpler up?

if backup wheel can fly off, so same with the 4 wheel attaching to your car, lower arm can break, wheel can fly too.

i am here to help on rattling issues untill someone raise no relevant issues for what i am trying to help. seems like none relevant questions are raised to vent immature frustration like i am your p2 technician.

went for my 2nd last service today, its been 2.5 years owning the crap. did brake service today, technician told me I've burnt my brake pads 10,000km and half a year later, which is 1 service interval. I opted for the cheaper pads they provide with the cost of RM15x because the ori Japan RM3xx pads emit way too much dust and too expensive. I even skimmed my rotors, and today, after technician smells the pads and another one tested my car, its confirmed. burnt pads, and rotors with grooves. all caused by the ori parts they provide. since its my 2nd last service, thought of complaining to get a new set changed. the RM15x pads are total crap, lack of stopping power since day 1, hence the heavier foot to stop the car, the heavier you brake, they call it over/hard braking, which burnt the pads. not quite happy after the service, seeking a channel to get p2 attention to have my complete brake set changed.

i think they refer you to Rawang SC because warranty cases need to be approved by HQ so referring you near HQ should be faster i guess...

anyhow, like what Delloyd79 said, try the SC in subang... i've been servicing in Glenmarie normally and subang SC since glenmarie do not have body and paint... went glenmarie to complain bout the wind noise when >60km/h on driver side of my alza and they changed new part for it... it was them who told me that >110km/h still have wind noise and ask me to go back and get it fix other time when im free without me requesting for it... but till now i have no time to get it done...

its better to get to know the Service Advisers or the Service Executive and befriend them rather than shout at them when theres issue... it'll make life easier for both when trying to get something fixed... i even get some stuff serviced for free... hehe...

Good morning AV8D laugh.gif Suddenly so hot topic here.

Anyway, thanks to all for the input. Nor matter info for problem solving or what ever problem occur.

We or P2 might not able to solve all the problems ( sometime ..accident will just happened shocking.gif )

BUT~!!

It is good that we all read and know. We may aware of the situation and avoid worst case scenario happened hmm.gif

The fact is without the sharing , I never ask to check the spare tyre .. even though I been thinking I shd do it. sad.gif

Hmmm... let's join the crowd..

so far the biggest unsatisfaction about my ride is the steering column vibrate.. it only vibrates when cornering on uneven road.

Other than that, I solve the problem myself either DIY or mechanic outside. Only this steering column problem I can't solved it yet.

Nonetheless, it is a good ride for me. I whacked the potholes and bumper like nobody business. Take over cars like mad cows, and drive through the small flood without worries.

What I mod about my car?
- DIY soundproof
- Continental CC5 (quieter and comfort ride)
- Coil spring buffer (to prevent spring fully go down)
- Front Strut Bar (better handling)
- Ceramic Nao Brakepad (solve brake dust)
- Apply silicon on side mirror rubber (solve wind noise)
- Host pipe on air con drip hole (prevent steering rack rusted)
- Maintenance free battery (solve the battery water leaking)

hi perodua alza owner. previously, i have install 1 baby car seat at the 2nd row with my wife sitting behind. the 3rd row is normally collapse for more storage like baby stroller. now, with my 2nd child coming along, I am thinking what is the best configuration to setup 2 baby car seat. accessibility and reach is important for the mother as well as space to maneuver. it is a no no to install baby car seat at the front passenger seat for safety reason.

It very much down to the baby seat that you are buying. Because all other things like the stretch of alza seats, door opening width, etc... are all fixed. If your babies constantly need attention, then you will have no choice but to let the mom sit together with the babies, meaning both baby seats at the second row, by the side, mom in the center.

If both baby needs little attention, then let the mother sit in front. Both babies in second row. There are parents whom advice not to attend to kids too much in the car, otherwise when they grow up they will never be still while in the car. They will always crave for attention.

Coupled with frequency, distance, etc.. you will have to be the judge of things. I've seen expensive baby seats that takes less space, and also some cheap sweet cherry types which can be very long and big.
