I'm think of replacing alza with triton lite, but to add the stupid dbox is another rm4800. also road tax super expensive.

No. going for triton not for the carrying stuff space. Just a better ride. But I like Alza's second row, which you can put the back down slightly in order to sleep. Can't do that with triton.

triton lite although not as high/tall as the standard model but still higher than say a waja, or preve. Flood mar... Lite is also about the same price range as alza premium.

I didn't know Triton is that cheap... 64k...?
Another one is Toyota Hilux... 73k starting price for manual tranny... But then again you'll sacrifice cabin space and comfort... Not that Alza is comfortable on long journeys anyway... This post has been edited by Eithanius: May 10 2012, 10:39 PM |

It is the Triton "lite" version. The engine, suspension, weight, etc is not the same as the standard version. It's just an older model of Triton being sold off as a lite use version. I just want the height, the big wheels so that I can do over dividers, chase after other alzas... The new standard version is pretty nice, powerful, common rail, etc... but I'm not into that. It is a replacement for Alza.
Yes, Triton would not be so comfortable for those sitting behind on the second row. And sometimes I'm the one sitting there. With Alza, I can lower my back and relax a bit which is much better than nothing. Can't do that with Triton. If not, I would have changed it immediately. Oh.. the stupid dbox is expensive. The other bad thing about pick ups are you get the front, the mid section, but no butt cover. Everything expose. And have to pay money to get a butt cover. Added on May 11, 2012, 7:48 amOh ya... it is manual instead of auto. This post has been edited by n8210: May 11 2012, 07:48 AM |

Dont want la. Maybe when I'm 50. But vellfire first and second row not suitable for me. I like the fact that my kids can sit beside me either on the front or second row. And if any of them are tired, they can sleep on my lap with his legs facing towards the window. Can't do that in Hell(fire).
