Another one is Toyota Hilux... 73k starting price for manual tranny...
But then again you'll sacrifice cabin space and comfort... Not that Alza is comfortable on long journeys anyway...

It is the Triton "lite" version. The engine, suspension, weight, etc is not the same as the standard version. It's just an older model of Triton being sold off as a lite use version. I just want the height, the big wheels so that I can do over dividers, chase after other alzas... The new standard version is pretty nice, powerful, common rail, etc... but I'm not into that. It is a replacement for Alza.
Yes, Triton would not be so comfortable for those sitting behind on the second row. And sometimes I'm the one sitting there. With Alza, I can lower my back and relax a bit which is much better than nothing. Can't do that with Triton. If not, I would have changed it immediately. Oh.. the stupid dbox is expensive. The other bad thing about pick ups are you get the front, the mid section, but no butt cover. Everything expose. And have to pay money to get a butt cover. Added on May 11, 2012, 7:48 amOh ya... it is manual instead of auto. This post has been edited by n8210: May 11 2012, 07:48 AM |

Dont want la. Maybe when I'm 50. But vellfire first and second row not suitable for me. I like the fact that my kids can sit beside me either on the front or second row. And if any of them are tired, they can sleep on my lap with his legs facing towards the window. Can't do that in Hell(fire).

I hv a cost saving solution for you and your kids will love them. Buy 2 of those high lumens torchlight from China. Attach them to the lower part of your car so that your angle does not disturb anyone. One torch light is only RM35-50. Mine is RM35 per stick. They are so bright that you think the sun has come out at night.

QUOTE(bilboblue @ Apr 5 2012, 09:02 PM) Hi Support the decision made... I choosed Alza as well... Happy with what i paying monthly and get new car....After selling my 12 years old Honda Accord Euro R CL1 2.2 liters, i have ordered and will receive Alza Premium 2012 model next week. Below is my additional item that i add thru the dealer. 1. Tinted 2. Full body kit 3. Leather seat. And after getting the car, planning to do below. ( Highest to lowest priority ) 1. Change to CCC5 tyre 195/55/R15 2. Add Voltage Stabilizer + Grounding Cable 3. Sound proof 4. GPS (better than P2 stock GPS) 5. Back camera (better than P2 stock camera) Have read this thread thoroughly since a month ago and roughly know what to expect from Perodua manufactured Alza. But in Malaysia, there are really no option to choose a mini MPV that RM65k below, unlike at Japan which have various model from different company for same price. I am trying not o regret and look back as what people said, "U got what u paid for ". And finally try to look at good side often rather than bad side, and u will appreciate it more =) |
