The newer processor and the 7200 rpm hard disk is just slightly better than its previous one so dont expect major performance improve from them.If u really expect some performance boost,u can try like kevin. He installed SSD inside smile.gif

And so far i havent see a single white N45/55 SF.Do Asus even intend to release it in Malaysia/Singapore? hmm.gif

hello fellow n55 owner, i would like to ask, do you found any major problem with n55 until now?

i went to lowyat and the price is rm2699 with upgrade to 8gb ram, by mtcs group, comes with some gift but i think only the ram is important.

since the graphic card is a weaker version of gt555m, do you encounter any problem when gaming?

They claim this problem could be solved by a BIOS update. Do you think they will easily exchange it for us? tongue.gif
The newest BIOS will be uploaded by Tuesday. Let's just wait and see smile.gif

According to some owners, there is a little speaker problem. But it could be fixed with the latest driver.
About the GPU, only N45 has problem so far.

So far i have only encounter the speaker problem where sometimes it will minimize sound to the lowest level and i have to close and re open the game/movie/music.I didnt try with newer audio driver so i am not sure whether it will solve the problem.

The graphic card is quite good consider it can play Rage at 1600 x 900 resolutions.

Any HDMI cable would do , I guess. If you're a heavy user type... you can go for the expensive ones. You might get sharper picture quality for 720&1080p
