I wonder if Perodua have rectified their braking issues like the noise and the warping problem in their latest Lagi Best model? It'll be ridiculous if it's not fixed. sweat.gif

that why the poor quality still retain as the profit concerned...

hey guys ..wanna ask some quick question here . My myvi's brake 's behavior is changing..

Basically ,when I press the brake , the car will stop normally at 30-50% level of brake..however this few days ,i need to floor the brake pedal till almost 90%++ only the car will fully stop ..I wonder what's the problem ? Anyone mind to shed some light ?

hah ! wan to ask 1 question.. is the new myvi still underpower..? when fetching 4 passenger include driver..?

that day i fetch family.. need to press pedal a lot just to get the gear shift down.. i think ar need to wait 2 seconds before the ECU realise i just pijak the pedal.. XD biggrin.gif

and also 1 most important question.. when driving.. no matter slow or fast.. 3rd gear to 4th gear always jerk.. the jerking worse than 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd..

or is this a normal problem in P2 Myvi..?

I think it got something to do with your brakes caliper. Maybe you could ask P2 Service Centre / Workshops to adjust it for you. Btw, It's better to wait for the Pro Sifus to reply you as I don't really know much regarding this smile.gif

Hi Aaron, It's my 1st National Car, Used to drive a Nissan X-Trail. I can't really say it's underpowered or not as I used to drive a 2.0L Nissan X-Trail so yea when I change to drive a 1.3L surely I'll feel it's lack of power. Anyways, So far haven't heard anyone saying the Myvi is underpowered. No matter the Old Gen or the New Gen lol. I suppose it should have more power / better since it's made more "aerodynamic" & increased of 4bhp which makes it to 90Bhp compared to the old Myvi which is 86bhp as said by the CEO of P2

First thing that comes to mind when people mentioned about having to step the brake pedal more will usually be worn out brake pads but if you're sure that your brake pads are relatively new then have your brake system checked, something is wrong somewhere if it isn't worn out brake pads.

MyVis are well known for power lag (power coming in slightly later after pressing the pedal). As the car gets heavier, it'll be normal for you to step the pedal even more. Gear jerking is pretty subjective, difficult to imagine what kind of jerk you are actually experiencing. As usual, anything that you feel might be abnormal, just verify it with the service centre and if you want a better confirmation, visit at least 2 different service centres. smile.gif

ok.. then it must be power lag..

the jerking feeling is like when it shift gear up.. u can feel the car pull behind a bit.. not smooth shifting.. like tarik a bit.. will see how it goes after 1st service.. =)

i think should quite common on conventional auto gearbox shifting right?

bcos i dont have raw power lag from engine as i using manual gearbox and giving me the power on the right time while as i always driving in offensive style...

1.3 definitely will have power issue... That's why so many ppl mod it for more power.

How to mod for more power depend on where you want your power to be.

Hi Bro, just sharing and my personal opinion.

Is the pre-amp...necessary?

Have you change your speakers? Because it seems you can't go too loud with the sound.
