hah ! wan to ask 1 question.. is the new myvi still underpower..? when fetching 4 passenger include driver..?

that day i fetch family.. need to press pedal a lot just to get the gear shift down.. i think ar need to wait 2 seconds before the ECU realise i just pijak the pedal.. XD biggrin.gif

and also 1 most important question.. when driving.. no matter slow or fast.. 3rd gear to 4th gear always jerk.. the jerking worse than 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd..

or is this a normal problem in P2 Myvi..?

Hi Aaron, It's my 1st National Car, Used to drive a Nissan X-Trail. I can't really say it's underpowered or not as I used to drive a 2.0L Nissan X-Trail so yea when I change to drive a 1.3L surely I'll feel it's lack of power. Anyways, So far haven't heard anyone saying the Myvi is underpowered. No matter the Old Gen or the New Gen lol. I suppose it should have more power / better since it's made more "aerodynamic" & increased of 4bhp which makes it to 90Bhp compared to the old Myvi which is 86bhp as said by the CEO of P2
*
yea.. i think ar we already used to drive powerful car then suddenly drop to smaller car.. will get the feeling of not enough power..

will see how it goes after 1st service.. biggrin.gif havent gone for the 1st service yet.. tomoro car will go knocking.. fix back the mudguard.. biggrin.gif hahaha laugh.gif

and install previous version of Myvi SE rims.. the black ones.. thumbup.gif

QUOTE(OKLY @ Sep 4 2011, 06:32 PM)
MyVis are well known for power lag (power coming in slightly later after pressing the pedal). As the car gets heavier, it'll be normal for you to step the pedal even more. Gear jerking is pretty subjective, difficult to imagine what kind of jerk you are actually experiencing. As usual, anything that you feel might be abnormal, just verify it with the service centre and if you want a better confirmation, visit at least 2 different service centres. smile.gif
*
ok.. then it must be power lag..

the jerking feeling is like when it shift gear up.. u can feel the car pull behind a bit.. not smooth shifting.. like tarik a bit.. will see how it goes after 1st service.. =)

The car is so far so good.. but there are sounds coming from my dashboard .. "Tok Tok nik nik" sound ..  shocking.gif
And the speaker are rather LOUSY .. Almost no different between the old & new myvi ??  shakehead.gif

Hi guys i'm a newbie here. I'm driving a myvi SE2. Just recently I found out that the rear doors has a more solid feel than my front doors(judging by door closing sound). Is this normal? Hope you guys could shine some light. Thanks.
*
I think according to forumers here.. Older version myvi the soundproof don have or not as good compared to the LB myvi..thats why like very 'piang' sound like that..

This is a known fact but what worries me that why the front door has lower built quality that the rear.... Suspect something is broken cause i seldom open the rear doors.
*
then not sure ade lor.. =) wait others to reply u..

my parents wan vios also very weird.. got 4 doors.. but the behind passenger right door got problem..

all 3 doors when close.. sound no problem.. once u close the rear door.. got the feeling like closing a door that is thin.. then got 'piang' sound.. go to SC and ask them about this.. but no solution.. car already 4 years with that 'piang' sound.. but we don care ade la.. just leave it as it is.. just try to close the door gently can d.. it all depends on ur hearing and feeling.. icon_rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

So you mean that they probably wont have much difference anyway? Hurm, should I take it or not because before this I book for elegance but seeing SE 1.5 is like this, its better to take it rather than 1.3 elegance. Can someone give me more suggestion which one should I take? Really confuse about it now sad.gif
*
no more question ask.. 1.5 is the one.. why need to confuse..? 1.3 and 1.5 power delivery n fc is so so so much different !! nod.gif doh.gif

but of course i'd still think that P2 is really ripping ppl's money !

u launch a 1.5 version but u stick with original plan.. a 14 inch lousy small butt rim.. =.= its better if they launch it 15 inch for 1.5 version.. damn noob la wei !! doh.gif shakehead.gif

In myvi wan case.. Front already have anti roll bar liao..u just need to install for rear only.. Unless u wan 1 set.. Then u remove the stock front roll bar n install new set..

What brand recommended.. I also not sure.. I'm still learning about cars.. How bout UR Bar? Ultra racing.. That day i go survey price in accessories shop.. Cost around rm100++ for rear anti roll bar..

QUOTE(Area51SE @ Sep 19 2011, 08:27 PM)
Hello Guys,

Just would like to ask something regarding the front disc brakes. Today when I just reached home, I decided to wash my LB myvi (white) since it's so dirty. So yea, I splash water on the whole car and of cause disc brakes too. After that, I saw smoke coming out from the disc brakes. I know it might be normal since it's hot but normally I do the same thing always (Come Home and straight wash the car) didn't notice any smoke come out from it except this time. Maybe it's me myself didn't really notice / pay attention to it last few times. So now my question is, Is it normal for this situation to happen? Or there's some problem of the disc brakes that I have to send to the service centre to check it out?
*
no problem wan la smoke come out..

mayb this time u ride straight road very long leh..? then u seldom brake.. or u ride slow.. brake little bit also wont so hot wan..

and smoke coming out definitely is normal case.. if got smoke it proves ur disc brake is normal.. icon_rolleyes.gif
