Yea the speakers are really disappointing, no bass at all, going to change my speaker... hahaha
Another disappointment is the air-con compressor, the compressor kick it frequently and u can hear it inside the car when the radio is off... But u can't hear it when u turn on the radio...  laugh.gif

BTW, i'm planning to install VS on my LB myvi, will it void my warranty?
*
1.3 engine, when the compressor kicks in, memang the engine lost power... It will be worst if you're driving it during noon. The hot temperature will make the compressor to kick in more, then you will realize the lost of power.

VS will help, at least for me. But I used Pivot the blue color one. You will experience the power recover faster with a VS... Void warranty or not, all depend on the SC only... As usual SC is like king, they can say all they want since they are the one providing the warranty. Since it is a VS, just take it off when going for warranty claim will do.
...Get those VS from Pivot or those Audio Cap, sure you won't regret.

I installed Cold Air Intake (CAI) to counter the noon time driving lost power issue, with all the cold air intake, it helps a lot... Especially if you are on an auto transmission. smile.gif

P2, P1, Toyota, Honda... Their stock speakers, really tak boleh di harap.

Plan to install Zaptor VS, seem very good, Pivot a bit expensive, and got a lot of imitate 1, scare it will burn randomly... haha
Must CAI installed on the front bumper? I don't wan't to cut a hole on my bumper... cry.gif
*
Buy from proper shop then most like-ly you won't get conned. I bought it from Quick Save in USJ... Good capasitor is not cheap, if the capasitor is cheap then my experience tells me the capasitor is not good. I have done some simple tests with the capasitor before. Good ones can retain the power longer, cheap ones drain like pouring water out from a jug. So you do your own maths.

My CAI is pointing to the back of my radiator only, I didn't drill any hole and it is more than enough.

1.3 definitely will have power issue... That's why so many ppl mod it for more power.

How to mod for more power depend on where you want your power to be.

Guys, sharing the ICE installed on my LB Myvi...

Hi Bro, just sharing and my personal opinion.

Is the pre-amp...necessary?

Have you change your speakers? Because it seems you can't go too loud with the sound.

Using BT to transmit audio will not sound that nice...

Anyway, most of the stock HU cannot perform/produce nice sound.

the amp + speaker system..? yawn.gif i confused also.. haha i am new and don't know much about car smile.gif
no i get it from my brother.. smile.gif i just use what my family have smile.gif
*
Have you got the car yet? If yes, then try the system and see if you like the CD player... because some ppl just like the appearance and will not change it. If this is the case, then change the front speakers which is 4 inch in size.

I would change the CD player first and get a better output, then only see what else can be improved.

Hi guys,

I goona be a new LB Myvi owner soon.(hopefully getting the car today)- elegance model.

In terms of safety, what is recommended to change or install in the car?

I was thinking of changing the tyres to broader ones for better stability.

Anything else you guys want to recommend?

Thanks
*
Changing tire might not help, changing wheel definitely can help in stability.

You may try installing chasis bar to improve the car handling.

NICE ONE! Wonder how the LB myvi perform after installing UR bar, anyone wan to try it?  biggrin.gif
*
That is the front anti-roll bar, mainly secure during cornering.

Pair with front strut and rear anti-roll-bar... Then you can drive with more confidence.

Hi, Im LB owner n I got some problem with the bluetooth. Sometime when I answering the call, the speaker does not hav any sound and i have to talk with the phone like normal. I'm sure it is connected which the ringtone tones come out from the speaker but cant hear anything after answering the call and the volume is adjusted. Happened few times and wondering does anyone facing the same problem like me?
*
Looking at so many feedback, it seems the player might have some issues. Would suggest you guys to seek help from SC and see how...

Maybe there are other drivers who are experiencing the same issue also....

If complain a lot, then maybe they can fix or even change it for you.

Just to let you all know, after market CD player do not have such problem.

Hi guys,

New owner of Elegance LB(black) reporting in.

Need some inputs from you guys on what need to be done with the car.

Mainly I m thinking of changing the rims n tyres.
And the sound quality of the speakers are really bad and the touch screen player is not so impressive. sad.gif

What is a MUST/recommended  upgrade/installation that should be done to Myvi?

Thanks guys .
*
For me to say must one, I would say the CAI. I can drive the car better and the response also better.

Most noticeably during hot afternoon, the car response is way better.

The rest will be personal preference.

want to ask something.. how much the cost to install roll in bar or idk the name of the bar that u put at the front and rear of the car to make the handling more good? xD
*
What bar is that?

My mechanic charge me RM10 for front strut and RM10 for rear anti-roll-bar. If rear strut, then definitely need to go acc. shop do already, because they will drill a hole on the plastic cover at the back to install the bar.

Most of the time, Myvi-ans will install front strut and rear anti-roll bar. This is more than enough for general daily usage. But of course, you can install more if you want.

those are called gas springs lar... they are usually filled with nitrogen... u can either replace it or fill it back with the gas and change the seal, but I think u better change new one lar...
*
Gas spring? I thought it is call hood dampener?

I recalled it was RM60~RM80 only from spare part shop. If you have a heavy hood, then these dampener will spoil faster. But it is cheap to replace.

oh i c.. ya this bar im talking about.. so what the effect? is it true that it improve our myvi handling? such as taking corner more easily? smile.gif interested in doing this upgrade in the future
sorry not RM10 but RM 100++ biggrin.gif
*
Brand new UR rear-ARB 16mm=RM280, 19mm=RM350(This one not sure)

RM100++, sure is ori UR rear-ARB? Or you mean the front strur bar is it?

UR bar will improve your car stability a lot, especially on Myvi since the chasis is very soft.

Guys. the LB interior annoying rattling creaking sound is getting more and more and louder and louder!!! very annoying.

does sound proof really help?
*
No, it won't. Would suggest to look at the cause of the noise and deal with it.

Soundproof deal with noise from outside, not inside.

thanks for the answer! one more thing, does those car navigator works much more better than those garmin or papago gps?
*
Some brands do use Papago or Garmin built into their system already... In a way, it will have the OEM looks comparing to those GPS devices.

Search around, plenty available.

Just a word of caution, some of those HU produces lousy audio quality.

Don't ask me what brand is good, what brand is not good. I use my Android phone for direction. biggrin.gif
