You sure have a good eye. I had never experience any input lag before. Was thinking of getting U3011.

The moment you input the motion for fighting game, you expect the thing to come out like immediately, but then it came out few seconds later, and that could cost you the whole game.
That's what fighting game is all about, and LCD plays a big role in this.
For certain time I hooked my 360 to big fat CRT, which has no lag at all, but 1 thing you have to give up, the graphic. shakehead.gif

Hey guys,,
which I should take?
Dell UltraSharp U2312HM or Dell ST2320L
Planning for gaming,,photoshop,,and sony vegas work, and i work with DSLR.
money isnt problem, for U2312HM price range..

The Studio model isn't that good, in term of colors sharpness and all.
Those are for people who purely want a big and cheap screen, that's about it.
I've personally compared both, trust me, the ST has totally different red color when both put side to side.

I understand what you mean. Guess I'm not a fighting game player so I guess i had never cared much about it. Now I'm just considering U3011 for it's huge screen estate. Hope games like Resident Evil 5 will look spectacular on it. It is supposed to have 5ms response time and ilm wondering whether i'll noticed any ghosting. Was planning to playback HD movie in 60FPS too.

Currently using acer H233h in which I'm very satisfied with and did not noticed any ghosting at all. The only complaint thus far is that the panel is glossy and the white color started to show some yellowish color.

Please do some review of the U3011 before you consider buying, that's not just one huge screen, the pixels count is also almost double what you have right now (1920x1080 vs 2560x1600). Graphics power will drop by at least half if you uses the optimum resolution (2560x1600) for all the games you playing right now.

At that price, you could have gotten U2312HM for RM549 during the promo season, wait one month, they might have similar deals bumping in during Xmas

I'm not worrying about gaming at that resolution. The only thing that I'm concerning is whether there will be some ghosting or artifact when gaming or watching movie on 60 FPS. The wide color gamut is irresistible. tongue.gif

Well I choose 2412 because of the resolution.. smile.gif
My mac is using 16:10 resolution and I tested on 16:9 I need resize some windows when move to 16:9 monitor.
So, that's why I choose 2412 so I no need to resize the windows when I move to any monitor biggrin.gif
