QUOTE(CANONPIXMA @ Nov 24 2011, 11:02 AM) Since its saying it has 0.6ms input lag, so means fighting games like Street Fighter 4 will have those silky smooth movement like they been played on the LCD/LED/Plasma TV? |

QUOTE(Shufflerz @ Nov 24 2011, 02:46 PM) Tech spec stated 8ms, and its an IPS, and has 0.6ms input lag? If EVO2k uses them, why not give it a try? :sweatPersonally never try before but 0.6ms is way too low already. Evo monitor the Asus VH236H suppose to has the lowest input lag, but also no where near 1ms. Arguably 2nd best monitor Alienware AW2210, which also no where near 1ms. Be bare in mind both of them has 2ms respond time written in their tech spec. And both of them are TN as well, which are supposed to have even lower input lag when comparing with IPS. Personally not going to buy that point until I've personally tried it. But during WCG2k11 in Malaysia, they uses some Samsung 2ms monitor, which looks silky smooth for SC2, where as my 5MS AOC has some jerk lag on the movement. QUOTE(Shufflerz @ Nov 25 2011, 12:05 PM) VH236H not available in Malaysia, according to some Asus LCD seller I pm'ed. Weird, then why Asus Malaysia are showing the model of the monitor >_> was interested to go for it, guess i'm going to ask around in lowyat. :SAW2210 already phased out and replaced with AW2310. So I couldn't do much also liao. Samsung... I'll pass. Reason? Call me a jerk but I don't really like Samsung, regardless of their quality and whatsoever. |

QUOTE(DrBlueBox @ Nov 25 2011, 09:03 PM) Nice, the 120Hz monitor does makes a difference. The graphics are smooth especially if you can get consistent 100++FPS 120hz does make a different, and its very very very noticeable when you play FPS game, its way way way silky smooth when you spin around your view.I'm still playing CS with my old pimped Samsung CRT 19" inch at 100hz, its soooooo enjoyable! |

QUOTE(Shufflerz @ Dec 6 2011, 01:38 AM) It is clearly the people's champion because many people has been recommending this unit all over the place. Do you think the Dell ST2320L will offers no input lag? or near to 0?By here same shit mean I suffer the same problem I suffered, which is input-lag, just not that serious, but still noticeable. P/s: the "shit" word doesn't mean no good sometime. |

QUOTE(Shufflerz @ Dec 6 2011, 02:23 AM) Depend on what game you're playing. Of course i will need something that's near perfections, because i always see those people who play street fighter 4 on LCD TV or even laptops, all the movement are silky smooth and like no input lag, while mine is kinda lag and its obvious Its good for general game, but for casual gaming, not on a competitive level. Its also a good buy if you don't wanna spend too much on LCD. By the way, i'm using AOC e2343F 23", 5ms response time. This post has been edited by kEazYc: Dec 6 2011, 02:35 AM |

QUOTE(Shufflerz @ Dec 12 2011, 10:00 AM) U2410 wins when come to office work and surfing. Hey bro, are you able to set 120hz for most of the game? in 1080p tho.You can clearly see that the words on screen is very very crisp, I think is the resolution problem. The AW2310 shines when it comes to gaming. 120Mhz is indeed very nice for FPS, and the present setting from the LCD itself helps a lot too for in game colours. Other than Alienware LCD, present setting on other Dell LCD doesn't seems helps a lot with the colours and stuffs. This post has been edited by kEazYc: Dec 13 2011, 11:40 AM |

Warranty wise, i won't be going for it, when things goes wrong about the monitor, i have to send back to korea, which you might cover the cost of a 27 inch IPS monitor from dell.

You can see the difference of 60hz vs 120hz in most electronic shop where they display movies, you will see one's is smoother transition compare to those cheaper range one.

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Apr 15 2012, 01:00 AM) Between 60Hz and 100Hz, any difference? There are reason why pro gamers still prefer CRT until today's date. When i tried it on movies with the TV, they look very wierd, totally not used to it. Someone actually offered RM500 for my 10 y/o 17" CRT, tempting. This post has been edited by kEazYc: Apr 15 2012, 11:43 AM |

QUOTE(arslow @ Apr 15 2012, 02:30 PM) 1.3k only...damn poisoning....too bad most probably if buy now will get the fixed on 60 hz wan. :/ cant OC like yours. It was stated to be 100hz guaranteed. http://www.overclock.net/t/1232084/yamakas...-guaranteed/810I'm more concern about the warranty instead, since you're going to import it, monitor tends to be very sensitive.
