Usually the dynamic contrast and everything depends on the software inside the Monitor.

Calibrated during manufacturing.

guys..any idea when will dell do promotion like early november?damn i miss it..plan to get u2711

My little advice...better get some more fund and go for 30 inch.
Most who bought 27 inch regret that they didnt go straight to 30 inch from the start.

any sifu here can recommend a TV monitor? 22-24inch. Used mainly for word, excel, and occasional TV (television). FHD 1080p is required as i need to see as much as possible on the display size.

I know Samsung has T23A350 and LG has M41A TV monitors. Any experience or opinions? or should i just buy separate TV and monitors?
Thank you in advance.

Any chance to still be able to get Dell U2311H anywhere on the market? Seems like it has already stopped being produced. And from many reviews and discussion, its slightly better than the new 2312.

I wanna ask... Is there a HDMI port Touch Screen LED/LCD Monitor/TV... Since the soon release Windows 8 biggrin.gif
Something doesn't look bad on my desk that could fit 2x 17" Monitor about 25"+... And have a built in HD Webcam...

No Idea what's the difference between LED, LCD, LCD backlit with LED Monitors. Might help...

No Price.

Should I wait for the Windows 8 release... Since maybe the mass production can lower the price... Or get it now before soon the monitors will raise?

Difference between LCD and LED Monitor are, LCD uses CCFL as backlight and LED uses LED as backlight.
There are no different in color between LCD and LED.
For Color Depth Difference, it would be mainly depends on what type of panel the monitor uses.

There are mainly 3 type of Panels, TN Panel, IPS Panel, VA Panel.
For more information. Click TFT LCD Monitor Wikipedia
If you want easiest explanation it will be.
Refresh Rate : TN > IPS > VA
Color Depth : VA/IPS > TN

The only Touch Screen IPS Monitor that i know are offered by Dell ST2220T which has built in speaker.

BUT HALT!, there are something more better than Dell, search for Wacom Cintiq, they offer best color depth and highest quality of touchscreen. And there's only one problem you'll gonna face when you wanted to buy this.
