It was stated to be 100hz guaranteed. http://www.overclock.net/t/1232084/yamakas...-guaranteed/810

I'm more concern about the warranty instead, since you're going to import it, monitor tends to be very sensitive.
*
actually it has 1 year warranty if u willing to send back to korea

Actually, it is RM900 shipped for the non-OC version.
Not sure how much for OC version.

You have to ask the ebay sellers with 'make offer' to tell you how much. Otherwise you'd be paying the list price.

actually it is RM900 for randomly chosen stock (OC or not, depends on the model number, older 2B model can OC while newer 2C model cant)
I think it is possible to request the seller to find 2B model for u at extra charges $$$ brows.gif

oh.. this is very good le.. hmm interested here will plan to get 2312hm or 2412hm.. either one.. ips is the latest right? different between samsung and dell which wan is better lol smile.gif
*
sorry for quoting you bro.
i see you're definitely into gaming.
with my little knowledge i see gamers tend to get great monitor which have very low input lag.

i would suggest you to get yourself a 2312hm instead of 2412hm.
why?
the answer is the 2312hm input lag is 0.6ms which is very low.
while the 2412hm is 9.4ms.

an 8.8ms difference can be easily seen.
anyway you save more.
its only RM599 right? thumbup.gif

There are reason why pro gamers still prefer CRT until today's date.

Someone actually offered RM500 for my 10 y/o 17" CRT, tempting.
*
haha.
you can keep your CRT or upgrade to IPS monitor.
CRT got the best input lag man.
instead of keeping, why don't you upgrade to 2312hm.

seriously no joke.
0.6ms difference isn't that obvious.
plus its 23" and got better colour some more. icon_rolleyes.gif

My monitor also has the same effect..my friend say it is because of the LED backlight.

Don't know is true or not tongue.gif

It's un-uniformity of the panel. and not dependent on backlight.

How much is the quality difference between LED LCD and IPS?
LED is backlight, the other backlight being CCFL.
LCD (can be TN/VA/IPS panel type)
IPS... panel type
...

all three terms are not actually comparable
