u2312hm.i use it with my ps3 now..the image is bright and colour reproduction is good. if u worried about 8ms response time, i used this monitor to play pes2012. no ghosting.

can see improvement if overdrive is on..but for now i feel ok with this response time..lazy to open factory menu setting

U2312 is using IPS screen with LED
As I'm using U2412 because the resolution and I don't cant see any ghosting on Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, MWF3 and GTA IV.
I use it almost 12hours a day.. It seem fine to me..
What's your budget?

When I look for screen only few spec I will look into it which is IPS, usb hub, warranty, and durability of colour reproduction
I don't really look into the connectivity because mac can use any by changing the adapter but at long is digital signal.
If you want HDMI and audio output, I recommend look for samsung LED monitor usually they include audio output

Err using VGA output?
If not mistaken, video connect using HDMI to DVI on monitor then audio use VGA to connect to speaker or sound system

u can connect ps3 to speaker by using y splitter cable

I guess that is U2411 model
Now U2312 and U2412 only come with display port, DVI and VGA

comparing s24a350h and u2312hm is like comparing a camel and a ferrari 

please,for god sake,dont get the s24 lol. I think even if u are not a videophile, u will puke after looking at the image quality. Super washed out and dull colours. Quality also not guaranteed(even their s27a950d is not that good in terms of quality, go google about it). If u go with Dell,dont need to worry about warranty. That is,if u ever have a problem with it(which I seriously doubt unless u r very unlucky lol XD)

for me,getting u2312hm is enough as u2412m is rm300 expensive than u2312hm..there's nothing difference except size n resolution

besides screen reso,  all the technical specs are same rite?      man, rm300+ to get extra 200 pixel.

for u2312hm user, did anyone face serious backlight bleeding especially on bottom right corner monitor?really annoying especially when to play game that has a lot of dark scenes

much more better than TN..now i'm using u2312hm,my fren next to me using dell TN panel..i can see the colour of TN is soo dull n not bright enough compared to my u2312hm..

for video,u have to connect monitor to ps3 by using dvi to hdmi cable(can search in garage sales).after that u have to go to video setting and select hdmi(usually it will auto detect)


for audio,u need to have y-splitter cable like i show before and connect to red and white composite cable provide with ps3.

then u have to setup video output setting and then select composite
