About the RM700 27" 2560x1440 S-IPS monitor I had mentioned before
Finally i bought it and this is the picture Quality is good, no dead pixels, glossy screen!, bright, wide viewing angle it is the same panel used in apple cinema display most importantly it can reach 97hz using just nvidia gt430 or gtx560ti, some guy in OCN get it to 124hz++ with gtx680 the only complain is it slightly lean to the right side, due to the crappy stand but it has vesa mount so I will consider getting a better stand This post has been edited by 881118: Apr 7 2012, 06:52 PM |

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Apr 7 2012, 09:51 PM) I read a lot of sellers mention that HD5850 don't work with it. yup some model cannot work with it, either it is too old or too weak to support itWhile some people mentioned that using it on their 5850 cannot show BIOS but works when it reaches windows. Do you have any method/know any people with 5850 that can test that out? I cant find the list of non working gpu anymore, it was in the company website But those non working gpu models are just minority majority of gpu will work Were u so unlucky to using the specific model that the monitor dont support? i dont have 5850 to test it out but u can always check OCN forum for more information however the thread in there is overwhelming due to the popularity of these cheap monitors example of one of the ebay seller This post has been edited by 881118: Apr 7 2012, 10:13 PM |

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Apr 7 2012, 10:28 PM) Yeap I was aware of that. 320usd was the price to ship to USA right?I have yet to purchase it. With the price war going on at ebay, it went from $400 to $320 now, which is like RM1000 shipped. Plenty interesting price point As to your wobbly stand, maybe you can get a Vesa mount? what about shipping cost to Msia? probably cheaper? what about bulk orders and shipping? since Msia dont tax computer accesories right not sure about getting the vesa stand i need to first remove the back arc, which if i accidentally broke the plastic connector, will probably void the warranty i am using some plastic cup to temporary balance it right now and a good vesa stand is not cheap it would somehow break my intention of getting this cheap and good monitor dilemma -.- This post has been edited by 881118: Apr 7 2012, 10:43 PM |

sorry but i am busy with my studies, so i dont want to take any extra responsibility
maybe u can organize a bulk order with some good ebay seller? somehow I get my zero defect version for the Non zero defect version price It seems like the seller did mistake on the price listing But he did sent me a zero defect version, with the zero defect orange color sticker on my box personally i like the catleap design thats y i choose it over the others eventhou it is about RM100 more expensive also beware that the zero defect policy only gurantee Bright pixel, not Dead pixels only 5 dead pixels above is subjected to exchange |

too bad that all the sellers in gmarket dont offer worldwide shipping for these monitors
else buying oversea will be much easier and convenient |

QUOTE(Alpha_Tay @ Apr 8 2012, 09:13 AM) about the 27" 2560x1440 S-IPS LED LG Panel, ebay.com.my has alot of choice, lowest was RM 688.43 + RM 367.98 shipping charges, or RM 1000++ shipping included, international shipping, malaysia included. good findsearch term is 2560x1440 http://www.ebay.com.my/sch/i.html?_nkw=256...6.c0.m270.l1313 now when i compare glossy s-ips to my u2312hm the u2312hm looks like shit, mainly due to the anti glare coating white is not white at all, rainbow dot effect caused by the AG coating also the white is more yellowish though i didnt calibrate it i only use the standard preset recommended by tft central in glossy s-ips, white is truely white This post has been edited by 881118: Apr 8 2012, 05:06 PM |

60hz vs 100hz definitely alot of difference
even scrolling and dragging items in desktop feel much smoother in fast paced gaming u can feel the difference even more which TV u tried? i remember samsung TV has the 100-200hz motion plus thing some ppl says it makes the movie looks fake, but I personally like it very much |

QUOTE(arslow @ Apr 15 2012, 03:44 PM) wow, wow!!! this is great news!!! but it says there that the 100z guaranteed version will only be out next month. But still GREAT news!!! thx for sharing!!! i paid 700 only coz i am in koreaAdded on April 15, 2012, 3:45 pm how much u paid? 900++ is crazzzzzy cheap!!!!!!!!!!! Added on April 15, 2012, 5:51 pm QUOTE(kEazYc @ Apr 15 2012, 02:41 PM) It was stated to be 100hz guaranteed. http://www.overclock.net/t/1232084/yamakas...-guaranteed/810 actually it has 1 year warranty if u willing to send back to koreaI'm more concern about the warranty instead, since you're going to import it, monitor tends to be very sensitive.
