yeah no hdmi, need to buy hdmi switch and dvi to hdmi converter if u plan to plug ur xbo360 or ps3 to use with the monitor.. if u using ati card then monitor can connect to displayport, so no much problem..

now when i compare glossy s-ips to my u2312hm
the u2312hm looks like shit, mainly due to the anti glare coating
white is not white at all, rainbow dot effect caused by the AG coating
also the white is more yellowish
though i didnt calibrate it i only use the standard preset recommended by tft central
in glossy s-ips, white is truely white

yup....mine look perfect.

if i lower the R or G only it will become bluish

im use Nvidia gfx card..

i set Digital vibrance to 100% on Nvidia control panel (color enchancements)

Should be possible.... the connector used should be universal (with the same back-light...resolution could differ) .... specially later models (up to 4 years back)
