Okay, thanks. I know this is nit-picking, but between Dell and Asus, which one would you choose for video quality and vivid colours? I know both are very close and difference is marginal, but given a choice, which would you choose?

Need recommendation on good monitor. Preferably 23' or above. Mainly for gaming/movies!

Dell Ultrasharp line of monitors aren't sold in shops,you can only get them online.
The S27A550H is a bit better since it's bigger and uses a relatively good TN panel.more.
That said the viewing angles aren't as good as the U2312HM.The colours are also not accurate
It also costs considerably

Just ordered myself a dell St2420L....
Was wanting to go for the samsung 27", but only one hdmi inputwith no dvi, not worth for me liao....

Can't seem to find the Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM everywhere in Low Yat plaza. All the stores don't have this model. Can't seem to find LG IPS236V too after much asking around. Rabbit.

Since I am not into online ordering(Dell), finally settled with the Samsung S23A350H. It's not an IPS panel but chose this one out of many brands available(Viewsonic, Asus etc.) since I like Samsung products.

Yeah, The price for samsung around RM1145 because it is 27 inch monitor.
On the other hand the price of the dell around RM685 and it is a 23 inch monitor.
But I don know whether samsung monitor got the HDMI port or not?

RM 600 consider cheap because i go to dell website they sell at RM685 for the dell u2312hm monitor.

Bought it exactly at the price that the forummer below had quoted. Quality is okay, haven't really done any serious comparison with the another monitor in the house which is a Viewsonic.
