U2412M, just saying that, it is cheaper a bit than after applying coupon with 5 years warranty, but need to bargain over the phone.CLOSED

QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 30 2011, 10:18 AM) Damn... should have waited for this instead rushing for the U2412M @ RM899. Lesson learnt the hard way, always wait for price drop before purchasing when it is near Hari Raya Honestly, I think the U2412M is a better deal than the U2711. It is a lot cheaper to buy more of the monitors if you want to do 3x1 display gaming. Three of them would only cost you RM2,247 (3 x RM749), which is only a little more expensive than the RM1,999 or cheaper than its regular price. Also, the U2412M, according to that TFT Central review is better for gaming than the U2711.This post has been edited by everling: Aug 30 2011, 04:11 PM |

Don't exactly game much nowadays... more for watching movie, bigger is better since I can sit on my bed , bout 2 meter away from my monitor.. not to mention I like the extra working space when working on photoshop Oh well, 2412 is nice... but next time shall go for bigger ones |

QUOTE(reno88 @ Aug 30 2011, 07:25 PM) HI , may i know how to determine current my monitor are showing Full HD, Make sure you are running on native resolution, and if you're talking about youtube make sure you stream 1080p and use full screen.is that check on screen resolution ? its show 1280x1080 .. and when i watch youtube 1080p and 720p , seem like no difference ... QUOTE(DarkNite @ Aug 31 2011, 08:42 AM) Yup, cos price difference is RM35 only. And if wait a little, sure have discount and further coupon discount! Good stuffs goes to those that waits for Dell =/Dell doesn't reward early bird. |

Dell pros is next business day advance replacement. Cons, you can't usually get it from the day you order, or see the demo unit.

The model that I'm talking is the ViewSonic VX2268wm.
When I'm searching for ViewSonic LCD 120Hz model, and I found this: Hong Kong ViewSonic website stated Frequency Fh: 65~185KHz, Fv:60~120Hz ![]() Well, from Malaysia ViewSonic website, it stated Frequency Fh: 24~82KHz, Fv: 50~75Hz ![]() A little confuse here, ViewSonic in Malaysia can't go for 120Hz refresh rate in 2D monitor view while Hong Kong can? Or it is ViewSonic website self false information? I'm looking for 120Hz refresh rate LCD monitor in 2D mode anyway, for games. I don't really care about 3D but as long as it run 120Hz refresh rate compare to normal LCD which running 60Hz refresh rate, I'll happy with that. So far I've target this one, the LG W2363D, 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD at all time. Got this LCD model from overclocker forum. Any comment? |
