Could it be your CD itself that's causing the problem?

i bet its ur cd...those low quality ones are easily damaged by magnetic devices n scratches too

thanks for your answer guys, i really hope that it's the CD/DVD problems, if lens then have to waste money again.

however actually there are quite many CD/DVD that i can't play when i bought them, like MGS3: Snake Eater and Kingdom Heart 2, only i bought a second one with different cover then it can run, may i know is this normal? or almost all of your CD/DVD can run without any problems?

i have the same problem with u.. but its NFSU MW... dang... i just 1 more milestone event to finish the game...i stopped playing the game about 2 month time... then i wanna finish it now.. then suddenly.. it hangs when loading... even when it can play sometime.. but in the it get stuck..

example... the road got cut in to half...and when i reach there... it take up to 1min to loading the rest of the road... i never try to buy new DVD but mebbe i can try... as this only happen when i play NFSU MW... other game is ok....

ok actually.. i have a question to ask sifoo here... ok... y did i play GT4, WRC Evolution (and some other game)...at my old tv is ok (chaplang brand 29').. but when playing at my fren's LG 29' (quite good tv) the GT4 become black and white...then i just (6.00pm just now) bought a Samsung Slim Fit TV 29'.... it also became like that.... i think its the NTSC/PAL thing... but some of the game is ok oni... any1 have or fren using samsung slim fit tv??? any1 know the solution???

just to update.... ok the no color thingy when playing GT4 and WRC 4 is solved.... i bought a component cable and walllaaaa.... crystal clear picture... and i admit it.. the pic with component cable is greatttt... really worth my RM40... hehehhehe....

ok about the NFS MW... i bought another new 1... ok.. here is my problem... the new 1 kenot detect my existing save game....haihz... i guess that what u get from buying :ahem: :ahem: game.... frust..

Hoho, bought the cable from darkshadow? I'm using the normal composite cables for my Projection TV and it looks fine...or maybe because I'm not playing enough. Might invest in a component cable to see the difference..

composite has 3 output cable... red+white (audio) and yellow (video)

but component cable has 2 for audio (red +white)and 3 for video (red + blue + green)..so the video signal is better because the signal is spiltted for each cable so that minimal loss happens...

hey anyone know my ps2 problem pls help me.
My console can't play certain games smoothly like WE10 Fernando's English Version and ROTK9. The game always hangs in the middle of playing, i have to open/close the tray or sometimes shake the whole ps2 concole to continue playing. Anyone knows the solution of this? My ps2 is fat version bought in end 2003.

they come out a few type of version

NFS : Most Wanted (NTSC/UC)
NFS : Most Wanted Black Edition (NTSC/UC)
NFS : Most Wanted (PAL)
NFS : Most Wanted (PAL) Black Edition

so there is 4 version out there.. quite hard to get the correct one..

Hi, I m having problem with ps2, It's been one year since i last touch/use my ps2, so it's cover in dust. The problem i m having is, when i try to play ps2 games, ps2 dont recognise the game anymore. It's says it's not in ps or ps2 format. Could it be the lens is spoiled?

maybe bad media DVD............do u try other games...still same prob??

like what robert said. it could be a bad media cd.~ hopefully jut purchase another dvd should solve the problem.

however, there is a batch problem. depending on what games your are playing.

well there is another problem however. it could be your playstation2 machine. too old modchip doens't want to boot new games..

so by all mean just change another modchip should be no problem.

I tried playing the old games i previously bought, but same problem happens. The previous game which i can load and play which are now not recognised by my ps2. And there's one more problem, everytime i restart my ps2, the screen would go black and white, a 2nd time restart and it will be back normal. Is there a problem with it? Btw, how much a new modchip cost? is it selling in any ps2 shops, or just in some specific shops? Thanks
