yea 4-5 hours is ok...after that let it rest for 15-30 minits then play again....thats what djinn told me anyway haha

I having a problem with my ps2. Some game can play some game seems cannot read. Maybe me lens quite old already but I not that ps2 hardcore.Are my ps2 can be repaired? If yes around how much? Coz I really wanted to play tales of legendia but it keep asking me to insert ps2 CD.

1 more thing is...
i heard ppl say when u finish the games and wanna turn off the ps2,never switch off the power switch on the console rear.or if u dun wan play ps2 about 2 or 3 weeks like tat onli switch off. is it true?

hallo everybody, currently my PS2 controller port2 is rosak & can't detect any controller plug into it...so can't play 2 players game mode...

do u guys know cost how much to repair this kind of thing?

Are there any good shop (shop name) or good place to recommend me to bring my whole PS2 go there & fix it? Except KL, any other place got these type of shop helpin ppl to repair PS2, i'm more prefer to go if the shop is in CHERAS coz i living there tongue.gif thx

Not all game cant play so far got 4 games, Tales of legendia, digital devil tune 2, naruto narutimate 3 and harvest moon a wonderful life ( but i rebuy a wonderful life from other shop can play already).MAybe my lens a bit dirty? Got Cd cleaner such thing bo?

Just to reconfirm.. when i boot tales of legendia DVD it say please insert Ps or ps2 game with a red screen behind. Something like that. So thats read disc error message? Scare scare to try yet.And is there anyone already tested it and succeed?

Try some other games..if it works probably u've got some older modchip..just remodded with a new chip. If those other games didnt worked, probably dead lens.

I not sure which chip i using also. A chip that can play latest game, play DVD and ps cost how many? + service charge of coz. Anyone change b4?

Swt i Just chak my ps2 and try tuning but seems not working. I sweat so much so I give up 1st. swt. But I lend my tales of legendia to my friend ps2 , he can play, while myself cannot play. And i lended my friend's naruto 3 i can play, while the 1 i buy cant play... Whats the problem.. sigh.

hi, i have a ps2 slim SPCH 7000XX series, my problem is, when i put NTSC-J games, it will not controlable, the visual is working fine but cannot control...rite now i just play the games based on PAL or NTSC-US...

anybody knows the solutions?

should be ok for scph-50x series but still you never the LA might fail on you.. (touchwood) and pray doens't happen on you..

this problem is actually you got an old modchip. usually is a blue chip.

is still the best that you play finish a game.. or changing a game always hold the reset button to make it standby mode. then only you switch off your main power (rear)

hm.. the only solution is still at KL mostly will have to change the whole Controller IC Board.

you can try. but sometimes miracle can happen but don't use any harm stuff on the cd cleaner

yeap! what's wrong ha? for example, kingdom hearts 2 and super monkey ball is based on region NTSC/J got visual, but nothing happend when im tekan-tekan my controller btw im using a PS1 dualshock as a controller...is it the controller problem or my console problem?

i think the keyword is here "PS1 dualshock", the official controller for ps2 is "PS2 dualshock2" i think thats why you cant play those games.
