QUOTE(Quick` @ Aug 24 2011, 02:10 AM) i don't know why you are defending him, when he show no respect at all im not sure how u define what kinda post is respectful onotif he criticize with respect with the right attitude that's alright, a lot have done so(over the previous page and thread) and nobody is angry, its understandable but with this manner of attitude he approach to criticize, to hell with him +1 maximus85 jump ship but from the way he post i guess u can see he is very frustrated same goes to aladdin, lowyat, etc they all have been supporter here for very long and it only makes sense for them to be very frustrated after the club doesnt show much sign of an improvement as a club that normally has the status of title contender (and its already been many seasons) so i hope u guys stop asking ppl to jump ship they all have been supporting this club for a very long time... if there is something that makes them says those stuff it only goes to show how bad our club's situation is atm i believe they still love the club very much |

QUOTE(MessiX10 @ Aug 24 2011, 03:03 AM) Yes, for around 22-25 million quids.Guys, have some faith in AW. I'm not saying he's irreplaceable or should we honor him like a god, but please, do not throw insults into someone who've brought so much to us. If you want to debate then do it nicely and properly but not the way you guys behaving now. Glory hunters or whatnot, you should've know better there's still a lot of people here who've great respect to AW and his philosophies. Show some respect people, show some respect! |

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Aug 24 2011, 03:04 AM) im not sure how u define what kinda post is respectful onot No offense bro, I just wanted to share my opinion in this.but from the way he post i guess u can see he is very frustrated same goes to aladdin, lowyat, etc they all have been supporter here for very long and it only makes sense for them to be very frustrated after the club doesnt show much sign of an improvement as a club that normally has the status of title contender (and its already been many seasons) so i hope u guys stop asking ppl to jump ship they all have been supporting this club for a very long time... if there is something that makes them says those stuff it only goes to show how bad our club's situation is atm i believe they still love the club very much Same meaning can be in different tune. For example: 1. Excuse me, can you please let me pass through here, please? 2. Get the f**k out of my way! Wanting your own club to lose just to show your frustration? I do not see that's respectful, many of us still wanting our team wanna win that match. I understand the meaning of freedom of speech and opinion. If our bro maximus can vent his frustration through that way, I see no reason why bro quick cannot vent his frustration in his way as well. I have no problem with fans here calling for Wenger's head but do it in a way where we can discuss/debate. I believe you're one of the fans here who don't have much faith in Wenger but I have no problem with your posting at all. This post has been edited by IsoZ: Aug 24 2011, 03:55 AM |

The thing about wenger is that he is stubborn. One thing that he always does wrong is that when the top players are sold (toure and adebayor in 2008 - fabregas and nasri 2011) he always tried to rebuild the team with young players rather than bringing experienced reinforcements into the squad.
Yes the future seems bright (as always), but what's the point of having those talented young players if someday they decide that arsenal isn't the right club for them anymore. AW needs to realize this bcoz a great team will always have the balance of youth and experience and sadly we dont have that. In fact we havent had a balance team since pires, henry, and viera left the club 5 years ago. I admire what arsene has given us for the last 12 years, but now football has changed. It is more competitive than what it was a decade ago. A player such as juan mata will not be sold 25m pounds ten years back. And now people say 25m for him is like a bargain. That's the reality of modern football. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « bro, i've went through this debate with tkh before to finally realize the missing point here was ETHICS, these people lack ethics... sorry i gotta be brutally direct and truthful anyways i don't know and i don't care la...if it don't make sense to them or if it don't get into their brain, then that's just to bad the idea of maximus85 being defended is UNFKIN believable, unreal is this for real, am i am seeing things tkh very long support Arsenal? i doubt that, unless ure some 50-60 years old fart long is when we talk about > 20 years, the real fan's itself in london those that have really witness the ups and downs on Arsenal truly, the era before wenger and then we are merely some glory hunter all the way in Malaysia that have been supporting Arsenal on an average 7-8 years or so and i know my role despite how much doom and gloom it is, i don't go cursing my own club manager as idiot, rooting for them to lose, disgusting, if the time wenger leaves, then he leaves, ill be glad to accept whoever that replaces him and back the new manager up but right now, he is Mr.Arsenal....i am right by his back, the question is are you? its not that bad of an idea to ask people to jump ship what, after all we started supporting Arsenal via Glory Hunting some where in our life, if Beandy aka Yukielow can do the humpty dumpty, why cant them? once again, transfer window aint over, pls fkin wait till 31st August. I am also eager to see transfers myself This post has been edited by Quick`: Aug 24 2011, 05:06 AM |

If you support the spirit of free speech, you should allow all kinds of posts. It "was" my style when I was the TS despite getting some complaints from fellow members. Now that the TS is liez, it's up to him.
FYI, the "house rules" (for an example, refer to MU thread) is actually not "recognized" by Lowyat.net. It was just their common understanding that these "house rules" should be observed. If liez is interested to opt for similar approach, he can PM alien2003. Nobody is bigger than the club, 100% agree on it. To *intentionally* (not out of frustration) hope the club to lose and out of ECL... who is bigger now? I do not want to start any war here. I always go for the diplomatic approach. You should know what is right and what is wrong. No matter how much you hate AW, the club comes first. Being a fans of a football club, I always keep this principles Keep the faith and enjoy the game! Cheers! |

Well, personally , I still think we have a good chance of qualifying tomoro. Hopefully aw will find the right tactics to neutralised de natale n gang.
Jump ship? Go ahead la. Nobody stopping u. Btw, about 24years ago, I started supporting arsenal.. Y? Coz I like the cannon. Hahahah. It was trying times back then coz news come late n not as easily available like now. Late 80s u can only hear about liverpool all the time. Arsenal was mid-table team with occasional burst into top 4. Slowly we gained momentum to stay top. Then there was a fallout btwn the manager n the board... Not long after that, AW was brought in. And everything was history. However, arsenal has never been a free spending club. Not then... Not now. I take pride in that we're a sensible, self-sustain club that live within our means. I take pride that we promote from within and give chances to people like adams and parlour and wilshere to come thru the ranks and make it big. Yeah players come and go. Managers too. But it'd be a sad to ask for AW to leave just because he didn't spent. |

Arsene was born to manage Arsenal..that's his destiny..no doubt about that..even his name is very similar in spelling..
I agreed with bro Quickie..you can't call someone true fan if they merely supporting Arsenal in its glory time and dump them when they're going down..and definitely you can't call someone true fan if they just started to support Arsenal <20 years ago.. I doubt any of those guys calling for AW head have been Arsenal supported since George Graham time..AW was the one who make Arsenal known to them and now ironically those people wanted AW to go..how funny this world can be.. I have been an Arsenal supporter, like most of us did, since the arrival of an unknown manager with huge glasses 16 years back..I will continue critisizing the players individually (Song has been the target last season and will be the target for this season)..but the club as a whole and Le professor would always have my support.. Gunners through and trough.. This post has been edited by blanket84: Aug 24 2011, 08:14 AM |

I agree that the most important task for AW is to qualify to ECL.
ECL qualification is an attraction of its own when it comes to get better players. Considering Arsenal being weaker after losing players through transfers and injuries, some good prospect players may prefer to wait-and-see if there's European football for Arsenal before agreeing a transfer. Besides, it also means we are getting more $$$ from the qualification Oh ya, forgot to mention this: Selamat Berpuasa to fellow Muslim members |

Nothing beats Wolfgang Wolfe managing Wolfsburg. Seriously.Bye bye Samir Nasri. Too bad you shall never be remembered as an Arsenal great, and the good 1/2 season will always be overshadowed by the other mediocre 4 and the nasty transfer saga. Enjoy your money. |
