I told my wife that Arsenal has sold 1 more player. Her first feedback to me was: "Wah, is Arsenal going for bankruptcy?" (Please forgive her, she's football noob

If you support the spirit of free speech, you should allow all kinds of posts. It "was" my style when I was the TS despite getting some complaints from fellow members. Now that the TS is liez, it's up to him.
FYI, the "house rules" (for an example, refer to MU thread) is actually not "recognized" by Lowyat.net. It was just their common understanding that these "house rules" should be observed. If liez is interested to opt for similar approach, he can PM alien2003. Nobody is bigger than the club, 100% agree on it. To *intentionally* (not out of frustration) hope the club to lose and out of ECL... who is bigger now? I do not want to start any war here. I always go for the diplomatic approach. You should know what is right and what is wrong. No matter how much you hate AW, the club comes first. Being a fans of a football club, I always keep this principles Keep the faith and enjoy the game! Cheers! |

I agree that the most important task for AW is to qualify to ECL.
ECL qualification is an attraction of its own when it comes to get better players. Considering Arsenal being weaker after losing players through transfers and injuries, some good prospect players may prefer to wait-and-see if there's European football for Arsenal before agreeing a transfer. Besides, it also means we are getting more $$$ from the qualification Oh ya, forgot to mention this: Selamat Berpuasa to fellow Muslim members |

Am I the only one thinking that the referee is rather biased against us?

Gervinho is really someone we have to look upon this season. He is similar to Vela but better - that's why the later has been loaned out.
I really like his no nonsense directness to attack the goal posts! Everytime when he got the ball, he will always try his best to get the ball towards the goal posts or to shoot. As for the last match, the penalty save was really the turning point for Arsenal. I could imagine things would be bad to us if the penalty goal was conceded - same goes to our confidence. This save not only affected this game, but will also give us confidence boost when we meet MU. I really could not point out any weak link in the team - maybe because I only watch the 2nd half As of Nasri's comment, I can't blame him 100%. He has been the swearing/cursing target of our fans. It's all about PR and marketing - for an example, how does he know that Citeh fans are more passionate as compared to Arsenal's? He's just trying to say something that Citeh fans like to hear. Furthermore, he's no longer an Arsenal player - no point talking about him further. |

Campbell is just trying to be friendly. If Arsenal is really accepting him, most likely he will be sitting on the bench and passing his experiences to the young ones.
Seriously, our game against MU has not been thoroughly discussed here despite the game will only be a day from now.... it makes me wonder why I remember AW's comment on MU - "They are not any weaker than last season" - true but they do not improve by a large margin either. Personally, their best buy is A. Young and we have to be extra carefully when dealing with him and Nani - I presume that they both will be playing on both flanks. This will be a big test to our fullback, especially the LB Sorry guys, I do not read much nowadays (work commitment to max Lastly, wish everyone who is traveling back balik kampung - Safe Journey! Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Holiday (but I need to work |

I also agree that AW never buy world class player, well maybe we call it well known players. I do not know where the expectation comes from.
On one side, fans are proud of AW's vision of "creating" great players. On the other side, complaining that AW is not buying well known players. I just hope that the players bought by AW will be up to the expectations |
