sometimes i dont know what is in the players mind, just take 1 example : Adebayor. he hit his form, then he request a salary hike then got refused, frustrated for 1 season, n then go to Citeh. at Citeh, play so-so for one season, went loan to Madrid then suddenly, now = Citeh willing to let go for free? clubs with big money spending sometimes destroying players career. Most notably, Real Madrid, back then Chelsea and now it seems like Citeh as well. this refers to Nasri, what happens if he got little time on the pitch, cannot fit into the system. is that what they r looking for? got paid but less playing time, then win the Cup, Title by playing less or sitting on bench most of the time? e.g. Alex Hleb? where is the footballing spirit? where is the fire burning to bring your club forward? you havent achieved anything then got frust then go away? true footballer is hard to come by these days...

ade is never a world class player. just because he scored 30++ goals with us, city got fooled into believing that he is a beast. we all know how/ where the goals came from. Nasri > Hleb/Ade by miles. i think he will prove his worth there. wasted. cool.gif

On one hand, you can't blame players for seeking greener pastures. If a rival company comes in today and offers you 5x higher wages, will you not consider?

On the other hand, they should know better before deciding to switch teams. It's always a gamble - some players do achieve better results (Ashley Cole, unfortunately), some rot (Hleb).

We cannot predict which way Nasri will end up, but one thing's for sure... we finally got rid of someone who's heart is already gone from the Grove, and we made a huge profit now rather than lose him for nothing.

If it takes AW to realise the situation of the club by not qualifying for Champions League football, why not?
Otherwise it's always "our future looks bright". Yeap, when players reach their peak they leave.
Clichy's departure seems understandable because he's been at the club for 8 years(?) but Nasri? sigh.

Back then I thought Fab will never leave with him kissing the badge and all. Now Wilshere looks like the young Fab. And don't know whether will he be leaving or not in 5 years.

RVP on the other hand is a real gunner, but PERHAPS clubs are not interested in him because he is injury prone? hmm.gif

In the process we also managed a couple other things :
1. We managed to put our season in jeopardy
2. We also managed to prove to the world that we can't hold on to our best players, despite the years spent developing them. Teams will soon be lining up with chequebooks outside the Grove's door to make offers we can never (or refuse) to match.

We look more like a feeder club every year...

bro,
i've went through this debate with tkh before
to finally realize the missing point here was ETHICS, these people lack ethics...
sorry i gotta be brutally direct and truthful
anyways
i don't know and i don't care la...if it don't make sense to them or if it don't get into their brain, then that's just to bad

the idea of maximus85 being defended is UNFKIN believable, unreal
is this for real, am i am seeing things

tkh
very long support Arsenal? i doubt that, unless ure some 50-60 years old fart
long is when we talk about  > 20 years, the real fan's itself in london
those that have really witness the ups and downs on Arsenal truly, the era before wenger and then
we are merely some glory hunter all the way in Malaysia that have been supporting Arsenal on an average 7-8 years or so
and i know my role
despite how much doom and gloom it is, i don't go cursing my own club manager as idiot, rooting for them to lose,
disgusting,

if the time wenger leaves, then he leaves, ill be glad to accept whoever that replaces him and back the new manager up
but right now, he is Mr.Arsenal....i am right by his back, the question is are you?
its not that bad of an idea to ask people to jump ship what,
after all we started supporting Arsenal via Glory Hunting some where in our life, if Beandy aka Yukielow can do the humpty dumpty, why cant them? sleep.gif
once again, transfer window aint over, pls fkin wait till 31st August. I am also eager to see transfers myself
*
hey ... what glory hunter all ... been supporting arsenal since 1991 (form 2) when everyone of my class mate was either a man utd or liverpool fans ... my favorite player was limpar then ... so do not doubt there r always arsenal fans in malaysia before wenger's time ...

n of course everyone have the right to comment or even sound their frustration because i'm sure everyone here love the club ... no one is right or wrong here ... just some giving constructive comment and some giving destructive comment.

n i always believe no-one including the managers n players r bigger than the club.

n by the way ... some may say i'm being silly (even my friends laughing n teasing me when it come to arsenal) ... i still believe that wenger is doing a good job despite not winning any trophy the last six years ... yes i'm frustrated for not seeing us winning anything (since wenger have pampered us with trophy ever since his arrival here).

but of course if we can find a manager to fill in wenger's place ... i'm glad to have him replaced ... but do not forget what wenger is currently dealing with ... the rising wage structure, the stadium loan n to remain competitive in the EPL ... this new manager have to cope with all this problem as well.

lastly to me wenger is the best signing arsenal ever made.

if we the supporters kiss the badge mean our loyalty to the club.but the player mean they'll kiss who'll pay higher

Done it d.. Can't believe he was once El Capitan. Soon Nasri will kiss City's. I hope Wenger knows what he's doing. In Wenger we trust.
