lol, it is not that complicated.
just buy any air stone will do, blue color/ grey color/ whatever color/ some even made from bamboo, as long as it makes the air bubble smaller then ok.
place the air stone, INSIDE your aquarium, right below of your outlet hose of canister.

dip into clorox solution with water will do the magic

airpump is not strong enough to push bubbles through ceramic co2 diffuser. You need certain pressure..perhaps around 20psi

why we use air pump with air stone ? its not bcoz all the bubble coming out from air stone are oxygen, but we need all the bubbles to cause disturbance/movement on the water surface so that oxygen from the air can mix in better

in contrast to co2 diffuser, where we want co2 gas to dissolve completely in water b4 reach water surface

to check for co2 tank leakage, easiest way is to shut ur regulator, but open ur co2 tank main valve, write down the reading (should be 800-1000psi) leave it for few hours to 1 or 2 days, reading should NOT go down if there is no leakage

also check for leakage with soup water around ur gas tube, check valve joint point (if u using external check valve or bubble counter)

next... put ur whole tank without regulator in plain water .. if everything is fine, then might be regulator issue

remember to replace the o-ring inside regulator each time u refill ur tank ... that o-ring tend to wear out or got harden after long time

chiobu or any other sifu, any other way to pump in 02 in aquarium? currenlty using DIY co2. but the indicator already overdose.

if put in air stone how to put?

1. i tried with the hose+air stone + the motor, but v ugly cz the hose there v annoying.

2. some sifus said put it down the cannister outley, but when i put, the air stone being blow away. AND i wonder, if nx time got lily pipe, how to maintain it~!

how to acclimatization?

normally i will open the plastic beg and put it float on my tank. then bout 15 minutes i will fill the plastic bag with water from my fish tank bout the same amount water in the beg (50% old 50% my tank). then another 15 minute macam ini i will throw everything dalam tank

yii..any idea to pump o2 mou?

last night i saw my guppies go down to soil when i use the o2 pump with air stone inside. then when i off, they swim up back.

i wrry overdose them with co2
