QUOTE(sisaiko @ Feb 9 2012, 05:45 PM) the main reason i wont go for CO2 tank is because of the price. i just want to try it 1st. plus as weijie said, bubble counter only cost rm13 QUOTE(weijie @ Feb 9 2012, 05:51 PM) I had tried that method few years ago. Yes this system might can last you for few months, then leakage will happen everywhere. Another reason for me not to DIY bubble counter.it is better to buy the bubble counter normal grade, only cost Rm13. Thx bro.. just found myself a check valve. not many LFS here want to play with CO2 btw, any JB guys around here?? |

LOL!!... but do u know there's 3 VIP aquascape sifu around JB actually? hehehe... where is this VIP aquascape sifu you are talking bout? me is noob, so shy to visit them.. afraid i will get poisoned kaw2 |

QUOTE(ciohbu @ Feb 10 2012, 07:56 AM) QUOTE(sisaiko @ Feb 10 2012, 09:25 AM) thanks ciohbu for clearing it out..... you replace 3 items(2 check valves n bubble counter) with 1 items(bubble counter come with double check valve) so the connection CO2->bubble counter(1 connection in, 1 connection out)->diffuser instead of CO2->check valve(1 connection in, 1 connection out) ->bubble counter(1 connection in, 1 connection out)->check valve(1 connection in, 1 connection out)->diffuser QUOTE(weijie @ Feb 10 2012, 09:29 AM) Yes. If you notice, this bubble counter has different design for "professional" and "normal" type. Professional are much expensive and it comes with build-in check valve. thx sifus.. btw, this is my tank.. a nano tank as an experience for my planted aqua. |

QUOTE(usermode @ Feb 12 2012, 03:36 AM) first of all, i am not sifu... im like you also. still learning. my nano tank is not same size with urs. but some is smaller and some is wider, etc. but here are all my nano tanks: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « like with what u can do even in nano.. give me some ideas already thx mat tempe add on : u dont even use co2 on your 1st 2 tank. izzit??? QUOTE(usermode @ Feb 12 2012, 03:36 AM) errr... i already told u, i dont have 4ft tank so i never search for such filter and my current filter is not for 4ft. try to go to NA Subang. they are pro and reputable LFS and also carry a wide range of stuff for aquascapers. maybe they could help you out to get your filter. and this nutrients from water column, how can we provide them?- ADA Aquasoil are rich with nutrients and even micros like iron. it's formulated not to leach any color to the water column expecially Amazonia II. some type of ADA aquasoil have the feature to lower down pH and kH. they also have few types like Amazonia, Africana and Malaya and differs in color, granule size and amount of the organic elements in it. - avoid using pebbles if you're planning to plant carpetting plants like HC, HG or glosso. they need more tighter and smaller granules for the roots to hold and most importantly, stay without floating. but u still can plant stem plants in sand as long u provide enough base ferts. ferns and mosses, they only take nutrients from water column and they also do not require to be buried. so these 2 types of plant, u can even have a bare bottom tank and they still can thrive.
