sifus, any recommendation for any good cheap auto food dispenser?
If DIY can tell me how?
btw, anyone succesful making their DIY auto WC system? or you all just buy ready made ones?

Well, just share bit, I went to hardware store, bought some pvc pipe and turned it into 'U' turn so when I do WC, no need stand and hold the hose, i just hang it on my aquarium (of cos u set ur own water flow from the main water faucet lah). Copied this after i saw how the LFS here do it. So i change water quite fast now. Plus i use the sucker tool to suck out the water so WC/adding can be done easily

I just recently bought an auto feeder something like this with 2 drums (1 big and 1 small)

mine can set either to feed every 12 hours/24 hours only. Not that canggih where can feed how many times a day
already 1 week plus, battery still good in it, chapalang battery
plus there is an additional button on top, press it and it will feed in manual mode
it's good enuf for when I'm away for a week, last time i was away for 5 days, just throw in those fish food type that can last 3/7/10 days but some fish not really sure what it was, so when I came back some of my fish quite kurus already...kasian

i went out jalan jalan again during office hours just now to lfs..
(this time the tauke so frendly la.. but when i go out, he said, aiyoo u dont want to buy anything ka? i got ADA soil give good price too you~ what? no use soil meh? nvm, u can use them to plant ure mummy pokok bunga , bla bla..lol)
saw those food dispenser about RM35-45 each..sigh
seems like auto dispenser need to wait till can find good price

anyway..can anyone comment on my auto wc system diagram?, its not perfect but its still work in progress.
hoping the sifus can help me pinpoint future problems area...

nice pic! but inflow from lower level tank need more power. how can u match the water flow for in and out?

yup, thought of that, got a counter solution for it i guess, next to the fish rack is my cupboard, a bit higher than my tank, so it will require minimum outflow from the container. if the flow to strong, can still use the flow regulator/valve

i tried making the lamp holder like in the pic..but end up remodding my lighting holder to fit different bulb bcoz realised it cant fit due to salah pilih pvc size, already spray wit mettalic spray woh..wasted~..
