i prefer go city corp straight...can get after 5/10min,

if lfs, need to wait 1 or 2 days + they charge more

unless u know any lfs that can refill co2 on the spot

I knew couple LFS , EA Mid Valley and Petsmart 88 at Sunwaymas can refill on the spot. But I got my o-ring spoiled by EA MV staff and they denied its their fault. Sigh.

Now,I got abit phobia whether to sent it to LFS for refill. I'm trying my luck here if there is any alternative besides City Corp. hehe

- i dont even know where is City Corp. i just send to LFS usually and if i want it in urgent, i'll go to mid valley. can get in the same day most of the time.

guys, im currently in KL working for the week. staying in EastIn Hotel. does airport authority allows pet fish to go thru? Need declare and i know have to be packed properly into boxes but not sure if can hand carry? Im thinking of getting some if have here and bring back to Sabah

Plus, can recommend me fish shop i can visit around EastIn Damansara? Those near places only cos i don't have much free time to go around cos of work

i dont know any LFS near Eastin but the most nearest i can think of is EA MidValley and Pet Family. but there's few more scattered around PJ actually.

perhaps u can visit fish paradise at centerpoint bdr utama or pet family at tmn megah...

maybe that just in my case. they friendly against shrimp. back then, i always force they 1st and 2nd generation. so, finally the 4th generations are friendly..i let the baby play with guppy babies. since then. no mini puffer in my community tank kill any fish or even nip their fin. except they kill shrimp baby

maybe u can try search on kota damansara..i forgot the name. but surely if go to through ther main door in carefour, you can see it clearly. just near kfc. i buy alot of planted item in this shop. but becarefull when pick up any plant that you wish to buy. i just caught 1 hydra in my moss. lol.

im looking for a new planted tank theme. does anyone have any good layout for nano tanks? 15x15x10. custom made. i just pick this layout. but its hardly to get any driftwood which is small enough toi fit in this thanks. well..i just use young dead twig for temporary reason.




im basically use new amazonia substrate. lol. medium size
any suggestion to build up such this nice layout? fall in love with this one.

How big is your fishes? Just put into a poly box and check-in. Label it as "seafood" Remember to put a little ice in a bag (seal and tied up properly to avoid cold water flooding your fish bag)

Btw, ProX, those things like the polysterin box and ice can get from the fish shop as well? Plus, can the polysterin tahan later on? We can hand carry it into the plane? Plus if I buy the fish in plastic bag with oxygen pumped in, can it last for almost 12 hours? as I plan to go this Friday lunch time and only reach back Sabah around Midnite

If packed properly, it can last over 12hrs. Yes you can hand carry (small pack) but I would suggest you to put into hand carry bag/back pack. Seal the box. Pack with more air and less water. If you buy a lot of fishes, separate into several small bags.

Btw, I am not responsible if anything happen. This is solely base on personal experience

great to know. I've experienced bought fish in plastic bag pumped with oxygen can last up to 9 hours, will take ur advice then as this will be around 12 hours or more..btw, I think I get the idea, pack the fish into several smaller plastic bags, put all into a polysterin, put some properly packed ice as well, close and seal (I will wrap it up as well as I think need to do that too) and then hand carry it. No worries, won't be blaming you if anything bad happens to the fish.

@sisaiko,
noted on 1B, for the Subang Jaya/PJ Option F, seems quite far from where I am. If it's too jam, I think I shouldn't go for this. Just need another fish shop recommendation then

Try one shop in Taman Desa, Old Klang Road. They have variety fish there and the owner is nice and can get plenty advise from him.The shop name is TDA. The shoplot is behind TM outlet and its right at the end of the other side.

my SAE is bullying my corydoras & otocinclus during feeding time.

i have a 45l tank (28cm x 30cm). inside i got 1 SAE, 4 ottos, 2 cory & 3 tetra.
my SAE is the biggest & longest (6 to 7 cm) fish in the tank.
only during feeding time, my SAE always chase away other fishes. kesian all my other fishes especially my ottos. (my ottos always hiding behind the ferns)

is this a natural thing? i thought SAE can live with other fishes?

how to solve this problem?

another question, i also plan to put 1 female & 1 male betta into the same tank. is it ok to do that?

another question, can i put also keladi bunting (water hyacinth) in it? my tank is open tank.

i think that keladi bunting will block lights to the bottom layer of your tank, and if u got other plants below, they would not receive sufficient light..
