ya, i been told that there is a few fish shop near clementi station. so i gonna do my 1day trip there too. haha
not really, as what i know from another forum, price from SG is much cheaper than in malaysia.
Eg: Solenoid is selling at about SGD 100, equivalent to RM245. While you can only get about Rm270 in LFS malaysia.

what stuffs are you looking for? ferts? tools?
I am using BW vivid as additive for my 3feet tank, so far so good, not much diff compare to ADA brighty k.
but my plants are not really red, some are orange/pink, some even turned to green.
i guess my lights are not strong enough (i have 36w PLL sitting on top of red plant, and yet it turn green).
i was wondering how much of light need for a red plant, i keeping HC and hairgrass with no problem.

haha. i also quite excited for this trip. My main objective is to look for sulawesi shrimps.
only had a chance to look at them at HongKong, they are packed and hang like feeder shrimps for selling. lol.

fert basically. i want to have all their 3 type ferts and maybe some hardwares like scissors or something (optional) and give em all a try. i dun use brighty K anyway. i used saechem potassium for K and step 1+2, and green gain. those only fert from ADA i am using. so i wanna try to switch to BW and see if my tank can adapt to it. but im afraid later cant find it anymore in KL. red plants? get more lights!!!! hu hu hu ... i have 254W (72 + 72 + 110) above my 3ft tank. LOL! and i still dun dare to go with red plants... erm.. actually i dont find it attractive anyway that's why i dun like them in my tank. hahahaha..!!!!

who got this plant?

Utricularia graminifolia a.k.a Chendol plant: belongs to the most interesting water plants. It is carnivorous and creates an attractive green carpet in the foreground within a couple of months. Utricularia graminifolia may be difficult to start up but once it has gotten a firm grip in the aquarium, it offers a unique experience for the aquarist

does anyone have this plant? i want to buy it. looks cool in my aquarium. rclxm9.gif

well..guppies fry is easy to care about compare with mini puffer. put brine shrimp liquid food or just let it eat uneaten adult food. huhu. food timer isn't a good idea for me

@usermode - I am just providing review and not really pushing any sale. I like to share product review so it is easier for us to pick which suit best. There are 2 sellers here ie Sisaiko and weijie for BW fert. As for the price difference, you have to take into consideration transportation cost too. Of course it is cheaper if you buy it directly from SG since it is the origin place. For comparison purpose, ADA in HK is about 3x cheaper compare to Malaysia. That is the reason why i stopped buying ADA stuff in Malaysia. No hard feeling to ADA fan out there but I cannot swallow such a price difference.

- i used to have a carpet with this plant. check the first page of this thread for my old tank photo. UG... huh, IME and personal view... it;s not a hard plant to at all and in fact, after that tank, i SERIOUSLY dont want to have it anymore in any of my tank. hahahahahah!!!! it's a PITA-type plant. it even refuse to go away and keep growing even there's just one little small leaf left in my tank floating, it'll grow into a floating bush if wasnt taken out. basically IME, it will just grow no matter where u plant it (tie like moss, foreground, or even floating on the surface).

@usermode - BW has increased their price due to increase of production cost. Which LFS selling BW ferts?

A little update on G Series - Snail Killer:-

I dose the liquid close to the snail to watch the response. Basically the little snail is stuck to my tank glass and i drip 1 drop close to the area. Within a min, the snail curl up into the shell. I continue to monitor for about 10-15mins and the snail is now dead. 100% effective and highly recommended for those with snail issue. My test subject is ramshorn snail. My upcoming experiment is to use it against other snails.

i guess better take out the dead snail if possible ?

its corpse will "disintegrate" (can't think of a suitable word) faster compare to other fauna .. and if too many dead snail, ammonia will increase after that biggrin.gif
