young SAE is very friendly fish (and hardworking too). With ur SAE size, i assume it;s an adult SAE.
Adult SAE they will eat leass algae and will start waiting for fish food only. Also when at adult age, SAE tends to be territorial. They are not harming those fishes. they just want their own space.

My suggestion, feed your fish and your SAE at different corner than each other... it might not solve, but it helps to reduce the tense of other fishes.

Decided to go The Pet Family in Tmn Megah only, hopefully will be able to find some fish i like to bring back to KK, Sabah

Just wonder if my fish at home is okay.. left them since tues morning till midnite tonite. Gave them those on vacation food. Hopefully my lobster and catfish don't eat any of the barb/danio cos of too hungry.. yikes

Can't find any polysterin box for sale near my place so will have just to pack into some box, wrap up, label as Seafood and try bring into the plane hand carry.

Hopefully all goes well with airport authority, my concern now is just there. Fish sure can survive as it will only be 9 hours since i'm going to the fish shop at 3pm later ( Friday Prayers traffic jam)

in my tank, i only got anubias nana & java fern, so i think putting 1 or 2 keladi bunting aka water hyacinth will not do any harm to them.

yup, for now, i place the food at different corner, scatter them so that they wont fight for the food.

- java fern and anubias should do fine. java fern still would appreciate some lights actually at least. they're not 'no-light' plant like moss.
heh, no matter what at least allow some lights to go into ur tank then should be okay ...

usually i put anything that have micro-holes in its texture. doesnt matter ceramic or larva rocks or whatever shit, i simply put. hu hu hu..!!! some people care on what they put because it'll affect ur water pH most probably. but to me, i simply campak..

but hey, ur ceramic dirty as in what? actually, people usually keep their matured filter media. u just clean it by washing it with ur tank water whenever u do ur WC. not the dirtiness you want to keep, but the BB in it.

Can try AI, saw Congo tetras 2 weeks ago but not sure they still have it or not...

Usermode, what is the ceramic thing for? is it the thing stabilize the water hardiness or PH in the water to 7? as what rock or stone does....

i got sponge, ceramic ring and seachem purigen in my filter

some ceramic ring come with uneven surface (lots of holes), some smooth like urs, usually we just rise with old tank water but not clean it 100% till totally sparkling clean, we wanna keep some bacteria, uneven surface provide more effective area to cultivate bacteria
p/s : dun ever wash matured ceramic ring with clean pipe water

some brand got specific ceramic ring to raise or lower PH, so read carefully b4 u buy
