For those long use Insighter, 2 findings for discussion here...

Finding (1) Do you notice anything when rev up (2rpm) engine in P-gear or N-gear. Then let go accelerator, throttler then pull back the engine very quick to ~800rpm. You will notice that the exhaust will have some rattling sound. In fact, it sounds like the mis-firing..hehe kinda cool ... I compare with other cars when rev up, the engine will be (very) slowly bringing the rpm down & exhaust doesn't have this rattling sound. Do you know why IMA engine has that?

Finding (2) I switched to "mileage left" menu while going up hill. Initially 500km left & rev ~2.5k rpm consistently till the top hill. At the hill top (flat road), its still 500km then suddenly when on down hill, the mileage drop 5km in resolution from 500km to 455km (typically 45km) quickly. But when back down from hill, the mileage again goes back up... to somewhere in 1km resolution (ie 467km). Is this program problem or something else?

Btw, reporting my FC here.
~14km/l - econ off + 80% hill ride
~19km/l - econ on + 80% highway ride

* Safe to say... its between 14km/l ~ 19km/l (worst & best) after 5 tong full pump.

Yes its normal, provided the front/back is Ray Barrier tinting, others security tint.

any owner got problem about this car? my mom want to buy insight instead city bcoz of the hybrid technology. seems its kind a new technology,i want to survey to some senior owners if this car got some major or minor problem.

Depends on the type you want.
Ecotint got many grades.
RB supposedly top of the range.
I can get you a good price if you know which type of tint you want.

One of my friends just got this car for his wife, complaining that the pick up is not that strong.... any comments?

My recent FC gave me:
604.2km at 30.968l (RM58.84)
= 19.5km/l
= 5.125l/100km
= 9.738cent/km

I know some sifu can obtain higher millage. But so far, above is my Best.

you do know that it is a 1.3 litre car, don't you? how much pick up are you expecting? then again 0-100 in 10.6 seconds. hahahaha

either she is hard to satisfied or IMA got problem.

I personally feel that the pickup is good when you have the ECO mode turned off..
I've tested the pickup after crossing the toll, accelerate and rev the car rpm to 4-5k, usually managed to smoke most of the cars behind...but doing it will burn a lot of fuel

Need to press the magic green leaf button to do the trick
