i noticed the default map apps does not allow me to share the location...

i was trying to tell my friend how to get to a place.. found it, but no way for me to extract the coordinates or click the screen to share...

is it possible with the default maps? if not, any map apps that can do that? i've not installed google earth coz i figured maps and google earth should be abt the same, no?

need to be more specific. think of this as science experiment...

"for a while" means how long? 1hr? 10mins? 1min?

coz if you have been reading the last 2-3 pages... i thought i was moderate user... then sadly, i found out i'm phone addict.

and what do you mean by lag? the whole thing stop... or go into slow motion? and... are you a virgin? oooops, i mean... what rom are you using? what apps do you have installed...? all these can affect and cause lag...

but the thing is... i might be outdated with this... but i tot sim contacts can only store like 100 contacts or sth like that, right?

so, to be honest, i never bothered with the sim contacts. everything is now on Gmail/ Google.

even before this phone, it was always on phone and sync with outlook.

so when this Q came about... i'm surprised ppl store contacts on SIM card.

i know that some apps come back even after you supposedly kill it...

and why do you need lookout AV for?!?

did it happen only recently or since you got the phone...? and when did you get the phone?

not sure about ninja jump coz i dun play it.

as for inotia 3, occasionally i got get the game hanging and closing on me... but i considered that as normal coz even browsers do that to me....

but statistically speaking... for inotia, its like 1 out of every 8 times i play. but i just restart the game and its fine.

3g always on... but do you sync anything? if you do... what do you sync? if you dun... then 3g data on or off also dun really matter, right?

which reminds me... do we need to install Flash? out of the box, i have not done so. thought it was built in... whatever that meant.

dun embarrass us and quickly uninstall the AV... lol... ok, this is half kidding post. but i'm serious... unless you're doing illegal stuffs, otherwise, quite safe without an AV.

if you install illegally obtained apps... then honestly, i dun think AV is also useful.

did it happen when you first got the phone?

anyway, same advise i give to ppl with windows... when start to act weird, easiest way is to reinstall. and then slowly check as you put back one apps at a time... which one is causing the problem.

but i'm not surprised if somehow it could be linked to the AV.

just curious... the the rest of the guys... anyone here actually installed an AV on sgs2?

out of the box for sgs2, its already there. and it should be auto update. so nothing to worry for virgins like me... right?

yes... that's called piracy and its illegal (referring to your statement about the apps costing $ and you download the apk for free).

what u pointed out is correct... just copy to phone and problem solved la...

but the thing is... i recall max contacts can store on sim card is like what?!? 100?!? or maybe i m outdated. i know i stopped using sim contacts long time ago coz i ran out of space on the sim -- i said i could not save anymore. that was like 4-5yrs back. since then, never saved anything on sim.

as for flash... errrr... i dun get your earlier post. you said you wipe phone and cannot watch movie because flash was installed?!?

well, i have not installed flash from market for my sgs2. but i did for my transformer.

anyway, for my sgs2, so far... all sites seems ok. can load. i guess flash already built in?

oh... faham now.

anyway, i think most bros are on hols beginning today... or maybe even yesterday... selamat hari raya... though i think i can wish on the eve also should be fine... since bros here are all sgs2 owners and have internet in the pocket (phone)...

I think flash is hidden. I dun see it on my apps list. but so far, I have no problems with any website.

only flash I see is... flash light apps. :-)

hmmm.. been using dolphin hd for surfing and till now, never encountered any error or prompt to install flash. got any flash site that anyone can suggest? wanna try the site and see...

@madlocke I dun think you are considered light user... lol

oh... forgot to select all apps... I see it. it says installed on device (default). still at 10.1 and no prompt to update.

I think for stock rom, some how user got no option to update it... unless I download new version now.
