because all my other phones with this simcard is working just fine specifically the 3G (my sony ericsson zylo is the best performer even beating my n8)
my APN is provided by DIGI which is diginet
i'll try and check using 3gdgnet

as for network discovery, u can watch the vid
i set it to auto from wcdma only

This is my take on Litening Rom v5.0 and Speedfrey 2.2.0 Kernal.

----- really really BAD baterry performance. data plan. 5minutes of gps. some 5 minutes of surfing. no sms no calls - drop 20%.within 1hour.

Same here. I been using DiGi for sometime and really good. Price is good especially. Maxis...you know la. Celcom is best when you have corporate plan at least for me.

How long you test it? It would take about 2-3 full cycle to get the exact battery life. Remember to battery stat wipe then check after 2-3 cycles.

You can't check like just one day.

Maybe replace ur sim card to a new one could solve the problem.once I had the almost same issue even after send it to samsung SC. Later I ask for sim card replacement n voila...

ill give another two or three days.

i already discharge my phone to 0%. now charged it fully and will wipe batt stats through cwm. see if it improve.

Try what Uncle Benny advice you first. The reason try to change your telco network is to eliminate the possibilities of phone hardware/software defect. It is not necessarily because your former telco is not good.! If TWO different telco simcard bring you the same result then 99% chances are your phone had defect and better go for replacement.
If all the sudden your phone can be used after you change your telco, that's mean something wrong with either your DiGi simcard or your phone setting.
If this happen, instead of going to Samsung Service Centre now you had to go to DiGi Service Centre for checkup.
And NO, no need trying flash any custom rom. This kind of problems need to be solve in the your original stock firmware. Except on certain condition like camera pink spot, custom roms can be considered cosmetic changes only. In other word, to enhance and customize to suit your need. And that will only come if your basic firmware/hardware is in good condition.

so i gotta go out and get something akin to mine from maxis or umobile or perhaps YES4G

the opera and blank page problem can be seen in my vid
as per what u said, i dont do rooting or roms


i uninstalled and re-installed both opera mini and mobile
still no flash

Basic phone functions must work well with stock rom. You don't go and flash cook roms to solve it. Basic functions refer to:
- call , SMS, MMS
- 3G/Edge connectivity to internet
- camera , must work well with all features builtin
- touch screen responsiveness , must be super smooth and does not lag on stock rom without 3rd party installs. 3rd party install ( esp those cracked/warez ) will at times affect screen sensitivity and responsiveness
- bluetooth connectivity
- WiFi connectivity ( test with other wifi spots if you have issue with certain WiFi spots)
- GPS should be fast and quick; mine consistently and without fail wherever I go, connects within seconds ( not more than 5 secs ) - Papago X5, Google maps, Sygic Aura. My car is factory default light tint so tinting factors does not affect me. Having 3G data enabled helps alot for quick/immediate lockup. I always has immediate, max 2 secs lockup using Sygic Aura

Talking about the differences between SGS2 screens, here's what I took a month ago with my friend's SGS2. Mine is the blue-ish one on the left.







Btw, I checked Celcom's SGS2 firmware just now on their demo set at Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch event and found that it's pre-loaded with DXKG4 firmware. There's Chinese language display option for the menu. Has Samsung already update Malaysia sets?

My Galaxy Tab 10.1 ( Singapore set ) by default, has several Chinese options available in Settings/Languages

actually i believe some problem will solve after firmware upgrade..since malaysia stil at KF1, you need to wait for SME to release other latest firmware ...for some ppl, they cannot wait, and just flash the latest update...but since most of the custom ROM are build with latest firmware, so that's why most of the advise point to custom ROM..can always use stock firmware..

Ok back to the problems. Firstly you must know that Opera still haven't support full Flash. It only have Flash Lite. In other word, certain videos cannot be played at all or not fluidly.
Secondly, any data downloaded from website was sent to Opera server first for compression THEN only it sent to the phone. There are times when this Opera server going timeout. Meaning no data can be sent. That's when you get blank space and if you're lucky enough you will get notice stating 'no connection to server'.
If you like streaming and watching videos, my advice is for you to try other browser like Skyfire and Dolphin where Flash player is fully supported. But truthfully, your stock browser is more than capable to handle all this video bussiness.
BTW, try to open only one browser at a time. Though our phones have two cores doesn't meant it can handle two browsers simultaneously. :-P
