Wait a second... Isnt the paid android market oredy arrive in Malaysia? Why do we still need to root it and download marketenabler?

I lOoked all over page 1, couldnt find answer to my question, that is, why are they different kernel versions? Is each kernel version different? As in different battery life, performance? Can i change a kernel to another kernel?

So the cf root is like this,just flash the tar file via odin to the galaxy s2, then done? No more extra steps on how to remove triangle? I assume that the tar file does not make the triangle appear since chainfire said something abt it being from stock kernel something like that
