msia still cheaper  laugh.gif

i think about the same kua... back bone still the same provider?

with 50mbps its not the line that's lagging... but the server

evolved from the arcade table... if u go to those arcade they have that game as well.. on a big table, they use it to gamble i think

open net is the backbone provider. The three telco are "renting" the fibre optic channels.

I got an offer to work in Singapore. Currently the employer is preparing the offer letter.

The location is at Changi business park (CBP). Anyone working there?

After some googling I found that the nearest HDB township is Simei. If my estimation is correct, its about 30 mins walking distance to CBP, which is not very near..

There are 'premium bus services' that goes to CBP from Yishun/Sembawang/AMK/Punggol/SengKang. Gives me more options.

After checking the rental rates, apart from Yishun, the rest of the areas are S$2000 and above. Any idea why Yishun rental is slightly cheaper? coz its a little further from the city?

Are you insisting on "premium bus services" only?
There is MRT which passes by CBP (Expo - Green Line).
I believe there should be normal buses too.
Yishun and sembawang is FAR from CBP.

2k...you are looking for the whole unit?

Which company? Stanchart and DBS and lots of the other big banks provide a bunch of free shuttle buses for their staff, check with your HR whether your company has anything like that.

MRT-wise, nearest MRT is Expo which is a 10-15minute walk (depending which 'corner' of CBP you're at). So for optimum efficiency you'd stay near Tanah Merah, but that is a bit expensive cos mostly private condo there. Otherwise, I'd suggest bedok or tampines.

Changi Business Park is located around EXPO MRT station...there's NO BUS routes going there....
U intend to rent the whole HDB unit at SGD2k?
You wouldn't want to be staying that far up north when your workplace is nearby the Changi Airport...unless your company provides shuttle buses from the different areas....else your best bet would be around bedok/tanah merah or anywhere on the east side

if you're workplace its at EXPO....u can ask if your company has those shuttle buses(privately hired) to n fro...it will be probably from a nearby/nearest MRT aka EXPO...
so depending on that..

Yeah, I am considering Tanah Merah, Bedok and tampines as well.
There are shuttle buses from Expo to CBP, have to pay a small fee coz the company that offers me do not provide free shuttle.

haha, i am not at the CEO level.. no driver.

I was thinking of the premium bus service. Stay along the route. Just one bus will bring me to the office.
The bus stops very near to the office.
