I just found out that Maybank requires annual income of at least RM30k to apply for classic. My salary is only RM2100 (not excluding EPF & Sosco) so I guess that's impossible for me.

I thought the minimum requirement was only 24K per year?

I like this statement. In fact, an honest advise to immediately stop using cc if the above scenario happens. Work on using cash and pay off your credit card debt until it is completed.

I have seen people spending on their credit card in the tens of thousands (or even more) in just one month alone thus it is not too difficult to get into trouble within a short span of time. Using cc is actually a discipline, if you cannot do it then a person should recognize it is a problem and take immediate action before it gets out of control.

anyone received a call from their banks regarding crisis shield plus coverage. no premium if we have 0 outstanding balance but will charge if we have outstanding balance. I'm not interested with this one but the way she spoke like I'm the only one who decline to receive the offer.

I have issue with Alliance bank...
I applied their card at shopping mall (actually applied other bank but the agent very noisy keep ask me apply few more bank from him) and then i got the card and i called alliance bank to cancel the card.

Somehow the card didnt get cancelled and the GST remained and interest keep adding up..
Later then i contact their recovery department and they only waive the interest but i have to pay for the GST charge, although i didnt even used the card at all.

Last month i paid the GST because it was flagged in CCRIS and i unable to apply card to do BT.

Do i have a case here? I actually called BNM number from their website and the officer told me GST will be charged once the card approved regardless whether i use the card or not...
