well well well....OCBC has approved my application, but they did not give me the amount that I asked for. Nevermind, at least it's better than nothing.
However, HSBC called me up and said that I am one of the selected customers eligible to apply personal loan with their HBSC Anytime Extra Protector (HAEP) product. Let me give you a simple run down on this product: Depending on the loan amount that you are applying, the interest rate may vary from 11.75% to 9.75%(if i'm not mistaken), and the repayment period is from a minimum of 2 years to a max of 5 years. No early settlement fee will be imposed if you want to settle the loan fast, but a written notice must be given to the bank 1 month in advance, to enjoy rebates on the interest rate. Required documents: 3 month's latest payslip, and latest EPF statement. All verifications will be done via the telephone. Just submitted my application and now waiting for their response within 5-6 working days. But judging from the number of loans that I already have ( 1 with RHB Easy, and another with OCBC), I doubt that it will be approved. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed. |

QUOTE(samsungXP @ Jan 11 2012, 06:29 PM) If i'm not mistaken, it's around 11.75% to 13%. Applied this loan a year ago, with repayment period for 3 years. But, I am going to settle this loan within this year, since I paid more than the stipulated monthly amount. Just walk into any RHB Easy branch and hand over your IC to them for application, and once it is approved, the cash will be disbursed into your RHB savings account immediately. If you do not have a savings account with them, then they will help you to open an account for you also. QUOTE(513730 @ Jan 14 2012, 12:09 AM) I think most of the bank require the applicant to be at least 21 yo for you to be able to apply their CC, PL. Last time when I wanted to apply CC, the agent keep my documents and forms and only handed it in on my birthday ( I approached the agent few weeks before I turn 21)This post has been edited by z3171600: Jan 15 2012, 12:15 PM |
