My formula is like this
For Euro/USD and GBP/USD
(selling price - buying price) X 100,000 X lots

Lots mean how lots you traded. 1 lots = USD500
*
Are buying two pair at the same time? Spread? In forex the difference of the bid ask will kill most traders esp using high leverage. Did you include the commision in your formula above for perRound trip?.

wut i meant is that y it didnt runaway like others?
mlm juz take a couple of hundred from client..
but this thing involves rm60k..
if i got cheated with that amount, sure im gonna hunt all of the staff there..

they use normal formula =sellingprice-buyingprice*20(VPP)-200*3.7(converttoRM)

but the best thing they say that eventhough the price go down, u can still earn money by selling new and buying close..
is this for real??

The simplicity of action and reaction.

The smallest movement in forex is 1 pip , which is 0.00001. That is why to profit you need to use leverage. Every time you short or buy in forex you are actually buying and selling the currency pair. Say Euro/USD, to sell or buy depending on your bias, you short the USD and buy the Euro at the same time or vise versa. You know uncle google knows more than I do. whistling.gif

Sorry, maybe my english poor, so I maybe wrong interpret or grammer problem hehe. I don't mind. First of all say sorry  to Dreamer first because I did say he flame me, Sorry. And for Geminis, Sorry also because being like a salesman in this topic. Please give me more advice. Thx.

The reason I need people to pm me because I want to tell them where they could head for more information on Forex. I also just starting to learn. That's why I'm asking people to join a Free class at a company. And that company I'm sure he doesn't scam people coz got a lots~~~ of part time and full time staff and Also client. Ok?

PS: Am I still like a selling person? Please remind me. Thx ^^

Blizz,

You are young and naive. Enron hired a lot of people too and it is a listed gas company. It scammed a lot of people too. Unless you own the company, you better be careful and do not say thing like "I am sure he doesn't scam people". Especially, when we ask you question and you cannot answer. You really have no idea how this forex thing works so how can you tell it is not a scam??

A sign of intelligence is to know when you do not know enough. You do not know enough.

Have you find the answer how can you lose money?? Did you ask?? Did anyone answer?? If nobody answer this question at your company, this will be a pretty good indication of what kind of people you are dealing with in this company.

If you want to share, ask that question and tell us what do you find. I know the answer.

Thank you everyone for the feedback and opinion. Anyhow, to answer some question, we do not allow people to sell any schemes or stuff in here, regardless of theire nature. So do keep that in mind in the future smile.gif

Even if you're an agent yourself, you're always welcome to post and share your opinion here. However, do note that you are not allowed to sell anything here as mentioned.

Hope I cleared out the confusion and do PM me if there's anything else to add.

Vanguard Emerging Market Fund is around USD $10 billion.. Now, it is adding Malaysia and Russia into the fund... It will be interesting to watch whether this has any good impact to Malaysia stock market..

Some say 6 months. Others say 12 months of your income.

I'll take whatever figure just as a guide. More importantly, is to establish the amount that you feel comfortable with. I only put into investment what i'll be prepared to lose in the worst case scenario.

Even a simple thing like stock market, you can lose money.  I lost half of all my savings during Internet bubble.  I was greedy and I did not get out of the market in time.  Just imagine that you are amplifying this 20 times by scale and time.  Literally, you can go bankrupt in a matter of hours.  The same goes for commodity trading.

So, u lost half of ur savings on forex?
nway, im still verry confused here about making money even the price go down..
they say after u buy some lot, if the price goes up, u sell em..
n if the price go down, u buy a new lot(Sell new) where u can earn profits even the price drop coz u can buy close at the lowest price... is this true mr Dreamer101??
its like 10% chance of loss.. but when i read about forex, about 90% of forex investors lost all their money...
are the agent of the company tryin to hide sumthin from me?

Talk is easy and costless, in real trade, mistake might mean losing chunks of saving even for some go broke. Think twice and calculate how much you can risk before venture into this kind of risky speculation/investment particularly forex and futures. I am not saying forex and futures is not good, but bare in mind this kind of investment has bigger risk so return also looks hefty.

When you are actual trading, emotion, fear, greediness and unpredictable market sometimes lead to you make mistake.

1) I lost half of my savings in Internet stock trading. If it was Forex, I would have been bankrupt.

2) It is very simple. You predict whether the exchange rate is going up or down. If you predict correct, you make money. If you predict wrong, you lose money. The problem is the movement is usually very small. So, you make very little money on each trade. To make real money, you either have to make a lot of trade (killed by commission) or large trade ( leverage 20 times = huge risk)

3) What people did not tell you is in stock trading, if you do not do margin and stock option, you only lose the money that you invested in. In Forex, because of leverage and you must do levarage to make real money in forex, you can lose up to 20 times the money you put in.

The question is if you lose your job, how long will it takes for you to find a new one. The emergency fund is what you need to keep you survive..

So, if you think you need 3 months to find a job, you needs 3 months of emergency fund. Or else, 6 months. And, if you think recession is coming and it is harder to find a new job. You need more emergency fund.

The same logic applies to businessman. What happen if your business is slow or no business, do you have enough cash flow to survive?? 80% to 90% of small business failed in the first 2 years because of cash flow problem.

If you are really interested in forex then try paper trading here OANDA. You will learn more with hands on than what anyone can explain here. wink.gif Notice that you do pay commission in forex even though many brokers claim there are no commission. The commission is the difference between the spread, mostly around 3 to 5 pips.
