Guys. I would definitely not buying Acer anymore.

Guess what, whenever I played graphic games such as skyrim and alot more the fps will drop to the least within 5~60 secs.

This issue has been following me ever since I bought this unit, and now I'm requesting for 2ndary replacement of my 4830.

Highpoint does GREAT service as I know. They took a second hand V3-471 which has 500GB HDD with 2GB RAM, which also is an old unit, claimed NEW by them for me.

Now now. Without my acknowledgement they drag my rights to accept this unit?! I was like omg this is nightmare. What I was offer was 4830 to 4830 unit changing and what I get was SH|T

U got a faulty speaker too?? my right speaker broke down last week after 1 year of using.

may i know izzit the battery only cover 1 year warranty although i hav bought the 3years extended warranty?? rm198

I'm owning 4820TG, am thinking of packing more RAM into this little lappy. Will it run 8GB RAM?

My video playback is kinda lack since I use some graphic heavy desktop customization. Will adding RAM help?

My battery died, how can I replace it?
I already ordered a new battery. I tried to open the laptop, but I can't find the battery. Do I need to open all the screws?
Warranty was over already, I don't have any official Acer store nearby. Can anybody help please?

I really suggest u bring ur laptop to the nearest laptop repair shop since this model use built in battery and it's really complicated to change it by your own.

How long does it take for their On-site guy to finally come and attend to your issue?

I have use my Acer Aspire 4830TG for 1 years, and this week, I got a warning at the battery icon, it say "There is a problem with your battery, so your computer might shut down suddenly". I don't get it , when my laptop fully charge, I discharge my laptop and when the battery low, I charge back my laptop. What should I do, and if there no other solution, what are the price for 4830tg battery replacement? I think my laptop battery have reach it life cycle?

And for your information it happen 3 days ago when I play DIRT SHOWDOWN game , at that time I did not charge my laptop battery and the battery indicator display 80% power left and also I disable my power save button to use NVIDIA Graphic instead of Intel Graphic, after about 3 minute I play the game my laptop suddenly turn off. After that I try power on my laptop but my laptop won't turn on and the power LED blink and that time I consider that my laptop battery are at low level, so I charge the laptop and turn on the laptop and THEN I get that problem. Please help with my problem and what are the solution?
