Will the PU bushes last longer than original proton bushes? I mean those for the arm, arb and steering.
By the way, nowadays still got people replace only the bush? I thought now everyone is changing the whole arm in set liao?

the pu bushes was supposed to last the car's lifetime. fyi, my steering still feels very tight and responsive
after more than 2 years on pu bushes. free play is less than 1". solid handling all round too.
much depend on the arms condition. the lower arm has a bearing in it. so, if the bearing worn out, it's a wise decision to change the lower arm to new one and get the stock bushes replaced with pu. i sold the new stock bushes to a friend.

btw, a set of 3 pu bushes on lower arm is more expensive than original proton lower arm with bushes,
so, you do the math.
