Hi guys, just wanna pop in and ask you guys a few questions, hope you all dont mind.

i am currently driving a saga blm and paying for it and i still have 2+ years more to pay. now here comes the twist, my mum is buying over her company waja (2005 pre campro waja) for 15k and selling it to a second hand dealer. so i and mum is contemplating whether we should fix up the waja and sell off the saga instead.

i dont mind taking over the older car cause it has no major problems thus far but i just wanna know what are the cost involve and what should i get fixed so that it stays in pristine condition for a few more years down the road and also if it is worth it or not.

paying for installment is a pain in the butt

edit* waja mileage is >200,000 already

To be honest, I would humbly advise you to keep your BLM instead.

Anyway, since the seller is someone you know, see if you can get any maintenance record on the car, especially what components were replaced and when they were replaced, and for what reason.

owh, sorry if i wasn't clear enough in my explanation. the car was my mum's workhorse and i also drive around in that car quite alot, no serious problems yet and also decent service record, sometimes few k late for service and thats all. its a mitsu waja not a campro wan, its the version with the 16 inch rims and white interior if that helps smile.gif

so u guys think i should still stick with the BLM?

haha. oh sorry bro. its mitsu waja with that milage... i also dnno. as for blm is a new car. try search a few pages back mxsteven has given some advise on buying old waja.

but for me, blm - paying evry month. waja - maintainence (bcoz of that milage problem will eventually come) . FC wise i think waja shud be better. but problem can me reduced the risk by doing preventive maintenance. its depends actually. are you going to change car really depends on you.

bloodlust : yea i just worried about maintenance cost only, so wanna know what are the cost involve if i were to swap out worn out parts for new ones.

is there anywhere i can go to get the waja checked so that i know the damage it has now? cant decide now whether i wanna just swap for the waja or just pay for the BLM, waja nicer car to drive also despite the annoying blind spot tongue.gif
