Well he offered to update for me for a fee and if the problem still exists after the updating he won't charge me. Now just waiting to send my car for service at my local mechanic since i only gotten the car like 2 weeks back

Mine's a 2001 manual and i just finished my first tank. 52L can go 529km so that averages out to 10km/l and mostly city driving with some highway driving. Usually my revs are <2k unless on highway. How's yours? Now after doing the throttle body cleaning from Thundergod hopefully will have some improvement

my fc is gotten quite good. mine also 2001 waja manual got 15 km/litre as the best fc with petronas ron 95 and for city i got around 10-13km/l . err didnt waja have 60 litre tank? and i still didnt do tb cleaning with elton yet.. the only mod i do is exhaust (decat + free flow straight muffler -silent type not ahbeng one. haha)

so far my 2001 auto can only get about 11.9km /L to about 12.3KM/l, ron 95 petronas. what else can i do to get 15km/l

wads the effect of decat + free flow straight muffler??auto can do also?hw much u did??

err.. auto sure worse abit than manual ma..

auto need the backpressure so some ppl say need s-flow the muffler... decat is to reduce the restriction in the exhaust. effect is sum ppl say got saving in fuel. haha. and engine is more revvy. err decat n change to midbox or bullet + new muffler i done around rm200+ long ago. early this yr.

yup2 for auto. decat + sflow muffler are good enuf for auto. any sifus for auto exhaust mod? hihi need more help from sifus here

i would suggest once ur planing to mod exhaust system.. either auto or manual.. go for whole exhaust setup.. for auto.. 4-2-1 + decat + s-flow.. better distribution of flow.. bear in mind waja got 2 box on the exhaust system before muffler.. also when u change exhaust upgrade the filter for better flow 1.. as ur car need to breath well before it can extract well.. my FC (auto) can get 510km full tank previously before changing my rims.. hehe~.. now barely 450km

haha im still using stock 4-1 . nt enuf money to change lg which filter do u ask us to change?
btw rim wise i juz use 16 inch instead of stock 15. not much chge in FC. if 17 ppl say will mkn mnyak abit

its the air filter.. drop-in k&n is a good choice.. naahh.. i've been using 17" ever since the car is given to me.. i was crazy about lightweight rims that time.. and my 510km full tank i'm on 17".. just recently i go for wider jj rims.. so the extra weight explains the FC.. .. but u have to sacrifice abit to gain something rite?

yeap 2 months, actually less then that. price i will pm u in a short while. rm 20 normally mechanic charge to install. as for pic the amt buffer is in penang while right now i am in kl, but i am going back penang this weekend and i will snape a pic of it to show. its better to let thurdergod/elton to help u diagnose for u.

my fc was around 11.4 km/l sometimes heavy footed. 13.8 km/l for highway.

auto is hard to get 15 km/l, unless manual. talk to thundergod cid/elton for better fc.
