Just wanna ask, for CIMB BT, what would be the best breakdown of payments for maximum gain and no penalties?

Eg,

Dec Approved
Jan Pay 5%
Feb Pay 5%
Mar Pay 5%
Apr Pay 5%
May Pay remaining balance?

So looks like faxing in BT application is better than submiting it thru their branch.

I have been applying for BT using fax method only and there was one time the application was not shown in the system after few days and had to refax. Point is, always follow up.

Well, due to inconvenience of using fax facility at workplace and non availability of fax at home, I had sent all my previous BT applications via snail mail and Express Post. No let up, disappointments or problems so far. Had done it for many times. I think close to 20 times already. CIMB, Maybank, Public Bank.... Applications made once statements received either harcopy or e-statement if available.

May I ask which number u call to confirm the BT application form reach their office?

1800-88-1801 or 03-5891 4777? Thank you very much. smile.gif

I submitted my BT application 15 Dec, until last Saturday I called CS and then I knew my application was pending due to my other bank statement's "no name". I faxed it this afternoon and plan to call them by tomorrow.

Above 1800 is for MBB.

What I meant was I will follow up after few days with CS to check if application is shown in system and not call them to confirm if they received the BT application form.

My MBB Balance Transfer (from CIMB BT account to MBB BT 12-month 0%) was paid to CIMB on 23 Dec 2011
Application appear in their MBB system on 21 Dec 2011.

I submitted the printout from CIMBClicks. Removed the "NCE TRANSFER" and "00/00 Expiry Date" as per advice.

If MBB decides to extend their 0% 12-month BT program, I will continue to "earn free cash"

By removing the "NCE TRANSFER" and "00/00 Expiry Date" and submitting it for BT application, would it be considered fraud?

Why is that a fraud ? The CIMB CC has my full name.

May I know what is your reason for removing the "NCE TRANSFER" and "00/00 Expiry Date" instead of submitting the actual statement ?
