One good thing about the BT programme from CIMB/DA is that they allow you to fully utilise the available CL of your CIMB/DA cc for the BT amount. For instance, if your CIMB's available CL is RM100,000, you can then do BT from other banks (could be more than a bank) for a cumulative amount of no more than RM100,000 to CIMB. Meanwhile, most other banks do not allow BT amount of 100% your available CL, e.g, OCBC 60% and Amex 70%.

You need to at least pay for the min of RM 50 for the 1st five months.

i will say u can totally ignore the interest incurred at HLB, as the interest will be nothing. here is how i do:
i'm a part time student, so i swipe 5k for my tuition fee, in return i get RM50 cashback (i'm using hlb essential).
after receive my statement (with outstanding balance of 5k), i call to HLB for BT amount 5k to my saving account.
after call to HLB, i use current statement to apply 5k BT with 2 bank, and there'll be 10k credited to my hlb cc account and will indicate negative 5k in outstanding balance.
i call to hlb customer service, to ask them to offset the negative amount by credit 4800 to my BT account.
Now HLB total have no debt, except maintain 200 debt there and 5k cash on my hand. what i need to do is just to monitor the other 2 bank by make the min. payment over the interest free period.

When I make the monthly 5% payment to CIMB BT account, the CL for the Principal CC doesn't increase, only increase in the BT account only... as per CIMBClicks.

I have been applying for BT using fax method only and there was one time the application was not shown in the system after few days and had to refax. Point is, always follow up.
