hehe. i did not see that. i was reading about rooting and not about rom. So, correct me if i'm wrong.. if i root it. and touch wood that i need to send to SME to repair...i would need to flash my rom back to unroot it? so, "technically" my warranty is back?

eh sifu i found one thing quite interesting...when i flash to 2.3.4 and use titanium restore my contact will be back but when i use villiam ROM and do titanium restore i cant get back my contact swt....

I think if uncle benny set this post, he willbe talking again about his phone brick sure to flash rom and never rot back.no problem claim from sme..easiest way, afraid void warranty, don't tamper with your phone.stay stock..

if you're talking about account being hack then that's another thing already la. It will only be an issue if right now people can view your contacts without hacking into your account.

i used litening 4.2..since last time for me litening 5.0 drain battery too much...some say save battery..just flash and see for yourself..litening still like stock...so no worry

btw have anyone here successfully make a video call to a normal phone with front camera? i tried calling to the old phones that have front camera and 3G enabled, but sgs2 said cant do video, attempt voice? wtf~~ the old phone also wont video call me. both using maxis.

For me my sgs2 only able to send my image but i cant recieve the other party image.

i never video call to my friends or relative because i don't need it, maybe other user have try video call, any confirmation..

till now i'm still trying to flash back to 4.1 or 3.2 but always bootloop, any methods u guys know besides wipe?

Yes Luffy,I've done vidoe calling with sgs2 front camera to my brother using SE Satio,and YES,the pictures(live video calling pictures)shown on sgs2 screen are crispy clear and voices are loud and clear!

Tried and it works. Both ways.
