SAmoled is deemed to be better in term of color saturation and contrast.

Gorilla glass is glass made by Corning Co. which is claimed to be scratch resistant and more durable/hard than normal glass.

Back on topic, can anyone here suggest me whether I should get Desire HD or LG Optimus Black(if I was to suscribe plan from Digi especially). Personally, i prefer the exterior of Black.

How much is LG Black inferior to Desire HD in term of performance? hmm.gif

Or anyone here can suggest me a better option, not necessary from Digi(plan+phone). Also, how much are the AP/ORI of them cost?
*
i would say desire hd or incredible s if you are looking at digi plan .

AFAIK optimus black still running on froyo , desire hd and incredible s is running on gingerbread

1. Brand = any but like the LG design
2. Budget. = around Rm1000 but willing to go RM1500
3. Specs. = any... is one LED and dual LED on camera very big different? and prefer between 3.5 and 4.0inch(4 already feel kinda big)
4. What you need in the phone = right now dont know anything about android but very interesting with tweak, custom rom etc. some say certain phone have limitation, true?

LG Black is not inferior to DHD in terms of performance. And it even exceeds the DHD in terms of battery life. If you were to sign a plan from DiGi, I would suggest you take the Incredible S or the SGS2 if you have the budget.

What are your requirements? If there aren't any those are the typical ones that are recommended.

guys, pls recomend me,im buyinggalaxy tab for my uncle,
so can u guys recomend me whether i shud buy from telco or here and register new plan?

planning to get galaxy tab 3g & wifi with gsm calls. i think its only p1000 right?

thanks.
*
Buying it directly from a store would be better. Prices are quite low now. I won't stop you from getting it from signing a plan though/

Hi wanna ask. I'm buying a phone for a friend(newbie in android). Why i read someone posted, HTC much easier to use than other brands(due to HTC sense)?

And is it true all HTC phones actually have gorilla glass?
*
Not sure. But most of them have been reported to have Gorilla Glass. Its not really that big of a deal though. Its only scratch resistant.

HTC phones are easy to use due to their properly built stock firmware unlike Samsung/other branded phones. Not due to HTC Sense. HTC Sense has a very good GUI though.

Mind explain more on why I should choose Incredible S over OpBlack/Desire HD?
SGS2 is really beyond my budget + I am not really interested in it. If want performance i can go for AP LG Op2x which is around 1300?

DHD: Tiny 1230 mah battery.
LG Black: Stuck on 2.2.2, mediocre dev support, 5mp camera(disregard this if camera is not important)

O2x is not recommended due to many present issues that are still unresolved.

LG is the new king of slow updates. Even their Optimus One (almost 1 year old) haven't received Gingerbread even though it's promised when launched.

Hey guys, i have an enquiry. I am planning to get an android phone and i am a total newbie in adroid. But my main reason of getting it is for portable reading, games(a lot) and surfing. I can say i'm quite a heavy user and i dont like laggyness much. So what phone can fit in below RM1k?

Another thing, can phone below RM1k support MIUI with no lag whatsoever? I'm grateful for all the help =)

Summary,
1. No brand discrimination but HTC seems viable
2. Budget <RM1k
3. Specs not so important but should be able to run games and if possible MIUI with no problem

CSL MI-410 runs MIUI IINM. HTC doesn't offer anything decent at that price range.

So, the 200mhz difference in processor does not give a big difference in gaming? I saw Mi410 HD game demo in youtube and some seems to lag a bit. So, if i have to pick 1, which is the better choice?
Sorry for the continuous questions, i dont wanna make a mistake in my 1st android =P
