I plan to buy a new phone. First timer using android phone.

My choice was between Samsung Galaxy S i9000 and Samsung Galaxy S i9003. Which better? Thanks

erm. mistaken for 9001. lol.
as for newer phone is batt hunger. will try do full 100% batt comparison when i got chance.
i think that maybe stock samsung rom that need some tweak to reduce batt usage.

As for X5/mi410 suggestion.
both is great. but mi410 need use Thai set ROM (official ROM) even Official CSL 2.3.4 ROM also laggy (reported in mi410 users)
stock rom is laggy

i think i'll revise my budget to 1.5k ^^ spend more now and benefit it out in long run.

saw that digi has optimus black and sensation at around 1k (with data plan). looks tempting

with your budget i would suggest nexus s. why?:

1. Its been around for awhile so the price is cheaper (1150), extra can buy other accessories, give to your gf/bf, your mum, me  , LOL
2. nexus has a lot of choices regarding ROM, kernel, apps, and MOST important of all, it is easy to root. and it will get the ice cream sandwhich update too
3. redshift theory - processing power increase double every 2 years.. meaning dual core phones get better and cheaper within 2 years...

i tested samsung galaxy s.
the camera is very slow.
after i press the capture button,it takes 2 or 3 seconds before it actually capture the photo ==
my friends said all samsung phones are like this,is it true?
if like this samsung is out of my option already

yes there's no flash and its plasticky, but for a bit more $, i suggest the newer model Plus vs 1 year old S or the nexus.
not proven, but samsung claim they tweak the new model to have better performance and also battery life.

Incredible S and S Plus both have their own pros and cons, what do u want? nice screen? good camera? solid body? easy to use? etc??

Up to date: Nexus is your best choice.
but just a small warning, the sd memory card cannot be removed.

Wow just finish researching for CSL Mi-410 ... It's an Incredible Phone!!! not sure want to buy or not because it is CSL =,= but for 800 it seems like the spec rival that of any higher end phone.

Seems like a lot of ppl complain about service and need to flash rom to fix most problem.
Now this is on top of my list along with xperia play. (both have it's pros and cons hard to decide) now juz have to wait phone to sell...
