Any example of rental dropping from 10k to 2k? That is VERY drastic. Did the price also drop? By how much?

A quick search at iproperty reveals many units below rm400/sqft. How come?

Woh, I didn't realise people willing to folk out RM1.5-2k to rent a condo.

Imagine a couple with combined income of RM10k. The rental will be almost 10-20% from their income.

RM 420 psf, I also can get. Thought you saying
standard is RM 460 psf since months ago.
How come now ask people minimum also sell RM 415 per sq ft?

Not quite agree to this.

RM 1.5k rental is quite norm nowadays. RM 2k depends on area and maybe students pool to rent together.

Most executive tend to rent and stay together for below RM 1.6k and some willing to rent below RM 2k.

Datuk Cov must be very ecstatic. Datuk Cov, I think you have been trying too hard to sell this prop at RM460 psf. Does not give a good picture to prospective purchasers as they may think all owners are a bunch of blood suckers. In my opinion, RM460 psf is doable in 6-12 months provided that all the outstanding issues are ironed out and all the early sellers at below RM450 psf have already sold theirs. Pls stop the siege mentality that ppl are trying to put down the value of your beloved unit. Can you just let the market adjust naturally and I believe that no matter how we shout in this forum will have little bearing on the real transacted price. The important component of how high the market value can go depends also on the commercial segment of Zest Point. So, can we just patronize the shops a bit more when we are there. The mini market located at Level 1 of Zest Point seemed to be struggling.
