IBFT takes at least 2 minutes or less, so its it still not available in your account? Have you check your name when transferring? Make sure you copy down the transaction reference no and worst of all just call the bank and check. If not escalate the case to bank negara.

Yes I have checked. I did one with small amount it went through but the one with big amount did not go thru. I have tried to call pbebank but no one is picking up. I feel loss. I don't know who to follow up.

I am calling that number but no one is picking up. I am afraid pbebank refuse to refund. I also do no how long would pbebank take to investigate. So sad now.

are you transferring to savings/current account? if you are paying credit cards it might not be immediately reflected as some backs using batch processing and it will be cleared by day end. try to check again by tomorrow if it is updated or not.

Hi all,

Does anyone know, if the fund is missing during INSTANT BANK TRANSFER, how long would it take to resolve? How can it be resolved? I really need some advice here. Thanks for the help first.

PS: It's bank to bank transfer ( from one saving account to another bank saving account). Not any bill payment e.g. credit card.

Thanks

The best way is to contact the bank's customer service. Try to call again, if still no one picks up the phone, try calling another number. You can also try to email them as well. Check out this link for the contact details. If it still does not work, then pay a visit to your home branch for assistance.

Thanks for your advice. Now I am still waiting for the reply thru email. Hopefully they will return the money to my public bank account.

you have to make sure the recipient account is not dormant or inactive as well. check your own account and see if the funds bounced back or not.

Yes, not only free IBG but also free IBFT for online transfer.  rclxms.gif

The published rate for IBFT to CASA, Loan Repayment and Credit Card Payment for e account is RM0.53.

Meaning no free IBFT right? But due to UOB extended their promotion of zero cost to 31 Dec 2017, hence it is still free (solely due to this promotion) for this year but unknown for next year right?

The RM0.53 fee is for performing IBFT through ATM. For IBFT performed online, it's free not just for this year but for subsequent years as well.

I see. It is quite misleading then, in the website, to disclose as such.

I agree that it is quite confusing. Perhaps this link would be clearer: -

Don't worry, if you've entered all the right details and information, and the funds just did not reflect in your recipient account, this kind of error can be reversed and you will surely get your funds back (though may take some time for investigation, etc. by the bank).
All credits and debits have to be transparently logged and audited, so if money goes out from somewhere, it has to end up somewhere; i.e. it cannot just disappear.
HOWEVER, if you made a typo mistake, etc. and entered the wrong recipient account number, then the money might have been credited into a wrong account. In that case, it might be more tedious to get your money back, since the error was not from the bank.
Make sure all your evidence are available and documented, to ease the bank's investigations.
Good luck.
