QUOTE(Ramjade @ Aug 4 2016, 11:10 AM) This is referring to JustOne Account right (be it the normal one or the priority). CS contacted and said that for the free IBG/IBFG, there must be minimum deposit of RM1,500 a month. In addition, there will be an annual charge of the debit card (CS say must get the debit card, no opt out option) of RM8. Is this true? |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Oct 26 2016, 10:39 AM) Yes. Just one. However what you say is false. I always feel whatever the CS say is not as accurate as what you lyn members have experienced. Not sure is it due to change in t&c or wat. What I understand from the website is as long as you have that account, your ibg/ibft (made online) is free and there is no requirement of deposit or anything, not even the annual fee because it is not even stated in the product disclosure and terms and conditions of the account. My account have rm5 I still get free transfer. Just one account is free. No yearly fees. |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Oct 26 2016, 10:57 AM) Read the TnC and confirm with the worker that it is free. The rm1500 is only if you want the freee meps and interest. If you want it, just put in rm1500.Then remove it straight away. Thanks a lot for the info. Most banks would need a minimum balance but it is interesting to see that you can leave RM0 in the account. If you don't want the free meps (but you will still get free transfer and not changed yearly fees), just leave how much you want inside there. I leave rm0 inside. When I opened I transferred rm1500 inside for "activation" then wait one day. Next day remove everything. |

QUOTE(Nom-el @ Dec 16 2016, 12:49 PM) The published rate for IBFT to CASA, Loan Repayment and Credit Card Payment for e account is RM0.53. Meaning no free IBFT right? But due to UOB extended their promotion of zero cost to 31 Dec 2017, hence it is still free (solely due to this promotion) for this year but unknown for next year right? |

QUOTE(Nom-el @ Jan 6 2017, 04:42 PM) The RM0.53 fee is for performing IBFT through ATM. For IBFT performed online, it's free not just for this year but for subsequent years as well. I see. It is quite misleading then, in the website, to disclose as such.http://www1.uob.com.my/personal/useful/fee...sonal/e_ac.html |

wanna ask on experience on ibfg (not instant tfr) to stand chart savings account. Called cs and cs claimed that for interbank giro, it would take more than one day to reflect the incoming funds. I find this excuse ridiculous and the cs insist that money would take one day to be reflected on the online savings account. If cs has stated it is due to federal holiday, this reason is more acceptable.
As i know, i have experience from maybank to public bank and hong leong bank whereby money went out from MBB before 11am and money was received in both public bank and hong leong bank a/c by 5pm. Hence appreciate any feedback whether stand chart wud take one working day to reflect the tfr of money or not so that i know how to plan for my future transfer of money to stand chart. tks in advance |

QUOTE(isAb3lle @ Sep 7 2017, 11:18 AM) Hi guys, When I enquired SCB end of last year, Just One account comes with a debit card that charge you RM8 a year. I was told by the SCB officer that cannot open Just One account without debit card I am looking for a saving account for free IBG & IBFT (best if they offer free instant transfer), online banking and e-statement only without the need for cash withdrawal or debit card etc. I am also not interested if there is annual fee or debit card fee for the account. I googled and browsed through lowyat and found that there's this Standard Chartered JustOne account, but I am not sure if I am missing out any other products from other banks. Currently I have AmBank True Accounts. Thanks! This post has been edited by ytan053: Sep 27 2017, 04:25 PM |
