IBG from Ambank to MBB slow, since yesterday afternoon. Until now the money not in yet.

check again afternoon.. it will be credited by today. usually within 24 hrs

Not really. I transfer using IBG, it will always be on time (refer to cimb IBG timetable)

Anyone made any GIRO transactions yesterday before 2PM and the funds have not been received in the receiving bank?

My client claimed that they made payment from HSBC to my CIMB on Friday 11am.

But until now Saturday. I still haven't got my fund yet. According to the table below i should get my payment latest before 11pm last night.



Anyone got similar Interbank transaction yesterday?

Monday is holiday also. this really make me worried.

Anyone using HSBC here can help? is the transaction reference start with #IBG+YEAR+MONTH+DATE+NUMBER?? Example "#IBG20160130000XXXXXX"

Recently, a buyer IBG from HSBC to my MBB but after 2 working days the fund not received, then I reminded the buyer to check the said transaction and he found out that he did some mistakes. The buyer made a fresh IBG again at around early afternoon and I received the fund in the evening within the same day.

It would be advisable not to check ID Receipient when dojng IBG. Mine was returned 3 times after IBG from Maybank to SC.

that's weird ask your client to check back the particular transaction. maybe got mistake or something

How about free IBFT? SCB, UOB all have free IBFT. If you want, free IBG with high interest, check out TRUE Savers by Ambank (2.8% p.a + free IBG)

schedule an future IBG transfer for feb01 (monday) on mid of January
but I checked my bank account foday, the $$ has been deducted from my account on SUnday (or maybe Saturday) , but the account history showed Feb01 !!

is it normal SOP for bank to pre-transact on weekend if the transfer day is falled on Monday ?

it's normal.. some processing staff even work on sat/sun .. that is why most of us here receive SMS on sat/sun stating hp/ml/cc/pl application is approved
