QUOTE(Ramjade @ Jan 1 2016, 06:01 PM) Well no difference actually as when you open a truesavers account, one is automatically given a truetransect account too. One just need to move from TS - > TT -> IBG. before 5 am? that's too early for me.You are going to close account just because they don't have IBFT? Let me tell you, their truesavers give 2.8% without complicated terms and conditions. No need for min amount inside. No IBFT? No problem. Just wake up and transfer your money before 5 am and money will enter recipient account by 1100am. Free IBG with truetransect some more. one of the forumer here mentioned scb FOC for instant transfer, i guess that's good to go i did many instant transfer for a month thats prolly the best choice scb |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Jan 2 2016, 02:52 PM) The Giro/IBG have never been free only the instant transfer is free for 3 months. Previously the instant transfer/IBFT was given free as a promo. Now is no longer free. It's RM0.53 as how it always been before the promo. yeah i know from oct-dec 2015 instant transfer is free all the waybut somehow, i mistakenly press for giro/IBG and they charge me 0.11 cents per transaction from oct-dec 2015.. blame my stupid finger.. so it's normal, right? |

QUOTE(gilabola @ Jan 7 2016, 12:30 AM) Normally payment for credit card appears only the next day because the banks seems to update our card statement only once a day. It is not really a problem, because the transaction date is still today although the posting date is a day later. yes for example instant transfer to citibank credit card same..You will see your payment on your credit card statement on 7 January, with 6 January as the transaction date and 7 January as the posting date. I noticed it is the same regardless whether it's IBG or IBFT. Payments shows up on credit card statement the next day. payment will only posted after next day but credit limit available will instantly increase if instant transfer successful |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jan 8 2016, 10:46 AM) There are a few cut off time in a day which dictate when the fund is available for recipient. i always do IBG and always next day... it wont be more than 2 days to be exact.. always within 24 hoursThe latest always will be the next business day by 11am if someone transfer after 5pm. Before 8 am, recipient will receive by 2 pm same business day. After 11 am, 5pm same business day After 2 pm, 11 pm same business day After 5 pm, next business day 11 am. It won't be more than a full business day one. So the statement is not true is someone said "it should take 2-3 days for Giro transfer". |

QUOTE(Nom-el @ Jan 12 2016, 03:55 PM) I agree that this info is very useful as well and should be included on the 1st page. I have taken the trouble to format it into a more readable format below and added some info into it: - super good and easy to understand
Hope it helps. please post it in post 1 |

QUOTE(kit2 @ Jan 16 2016, 10:59 PM) from my past experience, bank processed ibg scheduled for the day during the 5pm run, funds arrived at destination bank by 11pm the same day. thats correctbut if you transfer now, i.e. on a non-working day, money will be deducted right away, and funds will be available at destination bank account by 11am on the following working day. |
